I still LOL @ Arum and DuBoef whining about the unacceptability of the Pacquiao-Bradley result and what a black mark it is on the sport when they had absolutely nothing to say about the far worse decision rendered just weeks earlier on one of their cards in Nevada, nor the fighter whose future was harmed far more more than Pacquiao's. Top Rank surely cares about the future of the sport!

I'd put up a poll and ask how much these guys would pay to see Abril's next fight if all they had to do was cross the street to see it but they wouldn't be honest about it cuz they'd have to back their position. The simple truth is Abril screwed himself when it comes to a TV date. Clotty was banished by HBO after the Pac fight for his lack of activity. When is the last time we heard of him?

 

HBO let go of the Klitschkos simply cus their fights just were not drawing interest allot of that has to do with their style.

I think the reality behind Rios, So many associate him with Margarito so he in a sense gets punished for that. So when you have a guy like Abril who puts on a front acts hard at the presser like he is going to do something while Gamboa is MIA the Margarito haters will jump on that bandwagon out of hate.

Then come fight night after all that tough guy front, Abril comes in and fights the way he did, Holding, Holding and more holding. I have no idea how anybody can say with a straight face Abril won that fight or beat Rios's ass I mean if Abril really did beat Rios's ass that means Ricky Hatton was dominating Floyd up until he got knocked out.

 

If Arum bought the judges for that fight, Abril OWNED the ref. ONE warning for holding is all I remember.

 

Exactly... Officials need to start taking points for that **** man its become too common in the sport these days. I mean look at Aikiwande vs Lewis great example of a referee who knows how to take control of the fight.

I've been Mexican watching boxing way ever since my father took me to the first Guty Espadas SENIOR fights, that was well before you were even born.

 

Considering Espadas was born AFTER me and box rec has his first fight after I graduated high school, I kinda doubt that.
