Neither fought a Prime ATG, but you can tell alot by who they fight in general.
Mike wiped the floor with guys who would have severely tested Wlad in my view.. Can you imagine Tyson losing to Brewster or Purrity or Sanders in his prime??? Mike could have beaten guys like Thompson and Chambers on the same night!!

Yeah, you say Klitschko is complete ****, why don't Fury or Price lift the title off him right now? Spinks only had 8 pro fights when he took The Greatest's title from him. Come on, if Klitschko is that bad why doesn't somebody get rid of him now instead of going into retirement or rolling around on the canvas silently pleading for the referee to win the fight for you? Price and Fury are fine to take the title from the weakest heavyweight champion because he's so bad. Let's see them do it instead of making a lot of excuses.

You can get old back-issues of the The Ring Magazine and KO Magazine during Tyson's prime and those venerated institutions of boxing journalism clearly state that the "heavyweight division is at it's all time worst" and that Tyson "is a blown-up cruiserweight feasting on the weakest competition ever" and that "Lennox Lewis is a glass-jawed robot" and so forth. Really, it is all there in those boxing magazines, the printed word on cheap paper, written by outstanding boxing journalists.

Maybe some of the younger posters who have Klitschko beating Tyson think that a big man with a heavy jab and enough power in his punches to back Tyson would beat him a la Buster Douglas and Lennox Lewis. Yeah, we know already, "Klitschko's glass chin would never stand up to Tyson's power." Klitschko's chin is actually more durable than Douglas' chin compared at the time Douglas beat Tyson.

Klitschko fans are still delusional. It's nice to see the world is still here. I'll worry the day they learn adequate reason.

Tyson did more in his three year reign then Wlad did in a decade.

Tyson's quality of opposition was far superior to Wladomirs. Wlad would have no answers to Tysons assault....KO1 OR maybe KO2

Exactly Butch - and I'm old enough to have remembered and bought some of those old Ring mags. Some of the middle+ agers on here should know better :blood

But they're so upset that big WM from Eastern Europe are dominating the HW div that they can't see straight - which is funny and sad at the same time :think

I think the best way of assessing it is deciding who you think would win if they were to fight each other in their prime?

    Iron Mike.

:nono only in your delusional world.

Don't worry too much, age will end the K bros reign. Then you can continue to have your self esteem in the dumpster when - most likely - some other K bro look alike will be the HW champ :p

Maybe they can have a special American Super Size Me Fatso Title.
PPV might make good money... from fans like you :nut

    .....

    really

Wlad has beaten nobody - worst set of opposition for a so called great fighter, which he isnt.

Him being dominnant in this era is like ruling the special olympics.

Holyfield, Holmes, Louis, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Liston, Rahman, etc. were all over 200 lbs.

The only top 10 heavyweight under 200 lbs was Marciano. smarten up
