O'Sullivan mostly did the same he's been doing all along, but the sixth was Hall's worst round so it allowed O'Sullivan's work to shine.
Round 7 O'Sullivan is popping the jab into Hall's face and stepping back as Hall chops in with both hands overhead. Left hook whipped out of the guard by O'Sullivan. Complaint to the ref by O'Sullivan about Hall billygoating. Nice hook and uppercut combo by O'Sullivan from outside as Hall rushes him. Hall is swimming through O'Sullivan's moat and trying to ram down the gates. O'Sullivan keeps pouring vats of hot oil down on the back of Hall's head but can't break the siege. Round 8 Hall is just letting his hands go, flashing both hands out straight and high. O'Sullivan is stepping back and looking to line up counter right uppercuts, twisting in with them and leaning down on Hall. Hall keeps chopping underhanded at the body and then flurrying up top. Hall is being very busy...mostly flash over substance but enough to keep O'Sullivan quiet. Boomerangs to the body by Hall. 10-9 Hall 78-74 Hall
Round 9 O'Sullivan is opening up some, backing up and thwacking down with the right hand. Hall keeps bulling in but hitting the arms. Hall warned for leading in with his head. Left hook upstairs by Hall, and O'Sullivan answers with one to the body as Hall pushes him toward the ropes. Nice long body shots by O'Sullivan while backing up. Left hook to the head by Hall, blocked. O'Sullivan drops his arms and works the body as Hall moves in on him and presses against him. Big shoe shine by Hall. O'Sullivan backs up and lands a 1-2 as Hall gets in with a high left hook. 10-9 O'Sullivan 87-84 Hall
Round 10 Long whipping right to the body by O'Sullivan as Hall advances. Shots over the top by Hall with his head bowed. Uppercut inside by O'Sullivan. They clinch and both tap each other in the ribs while in lockstep moving toward the ropes. They split and O'Sullivan gets in a groove backing up and jabbing Hall in the face. Hall moves in, leans against O'Sullivan on the ropes and shoeshines into his arms. Slapping right to the body by Hall, but very little on it. Wet noodles from Hall. O'Sullivan is avoiding him pretty well, using matador moves on the inside, stepping around Hall landing jabs and lining up his 1-2. They get their arms tangled and Hall hauls O'Sullivan toward the ropes. They break apart with a two-way burst of short punches. O'Sullivan claps Hall over the head with a right hand as Hall presses in throwing high and hard but missing. 10-9 O'Sullivan 96-94 Hall
