You probably noticed the trend to for the magazines to always disparage a division if the champion happend to be caucasian and just, in general, dismiss any caucasian fighter as garbage and when chalky beat the great nonwhite opponent, the opponent was "disinterested" or "decided not to fight". Certain writers were worse about this than other. Mike Katz was particularly bad about this, I'll go ahead and drop his name in the grease. You can trace the extensive papertrail of his career and I doubt if there ever was a competent caucasian pugilist in the world of boxing according to Mike Katz.

Then there's the constant snobbery of the heavyweight division. Like we both no the heavyweight division has never been any good. 10 years ago it was not good, 10 years from now it will not be good either. Unfortunately, this kind of **** has been the cancer that has been killing boxing.

I know I'm not the only one who has been around long enough and interested long enough to notice this crap. I wonder why so many want to bury their heads in the sand and pretend like the current situation is anything new and worse.

I love Wlad but Tyson is one of the biggest nightmares that ever stepped into the ring P4P and at heavyweight. He's the total package. Wlad is not. It'd take some doing to pass Tyson with what he does and who he has to work with and politics.

:smoke You can go back to any previous generation to see this . ALI was considered the saviour of boxing but 40 years on its now considered the GOLDEN AGE . I wonder why the golden age had to be saved . I also wonder why if there was so many great heavyweights in the past why they actually couldnt hold the title . The title was always held by cruisers and light heavys ? :yep

Bowe KO 5 Wlad. Bowe walks wlad down, uppercut,
overhand right end of story. Tyson KO2. Wlad never
faced anyone with speed defense, chin, or talent
remotely near Tyson. Lewis KO Wlad 3. Wlad dominates
against fighters who dont have the tools, skils, chin, or
Size to be competitive. Hes beaten shot fighters and B
level fighters. Wlad is one of my favorite fighters too,
impressed me vs Chagaev and Peter(cause he got up
of the canvas, although 2the of the knockdowns were
fouls) . 4 rounds to stop Mormeck, humuliating destruction
at the hands of Sanders. We know what happens when
Wlad gets pressured and hit with power. I m a Wlad
fan, but he never faced a killer in the ring. Back to classic
    for me

So Wlad if Wlad beat-up Hopkins then brought LL out of retirement so he could KO him, that would make Wlad great?

Tyson was the softest fighter in HW history. KOed by a hundred cans. Never beat anyone worth a ****.

In the end wlad will go down greater on resume but the excitement level created by mike is the exact opposite with wlad and therefore tyson will always be above a guy like wlad in the hearts of the fans.
