Let's be honest: If Garcia can hurt Morales, he can hurt Khan

He was able to beat Kendal Holt who has thunder in them hands as well.... I still think Khan will win, but as it draws closer to the fight I cant help but think Garcia might be able to do this he has a great counter left hook, which Khan pulls that right hand back as he jabs.
and Maidana was able to war with Khan and had him nearly out on his feet... this could be an upset we are heading into...

I agree. The reason why its hard to choose is because I think Khan is just a better boxer. When Khan feels he can be hurt, he reverts to his boxing.

 

I think people are underestimating this kid Garcia.This is the first time Khan has fought someone that is well rounded.Maidana might be heavy handed but he lacks speed and finesse.

Kotelnik might have the boxing fundamentals and skills but he lacks power.Judah has speed and power but he lacks the heart, chin and is old as ****.Peterson is ok that's only because of steroids in his system, which able him to absorb the punches and gave him the stamina to keep going forward like the roided line backers in the NFL.

Garcia is young.He has the power, he has good speed, and can box or brawl depending on the occasion.Patience and accurate. The only question is how he handles Khan's speed and can he cope and time Amir.

If he can, look out.I feel like Garcia can make this an exciting fight.But his dad does my head in.So I have to go with Amir in this fight.Just want to see Garcia's dad in tears.For shits and giggles.

Garcia is a world champion and as such cannot be underestimated but I just cant see him living with Khans speed, it will be unlike anything he could have imagined let alone faced. Having said that he'll probably KO Khan since I can't predict ****.

 

Yeah, I think many of us think this way but it may because of the fresh thoughts of Josesito Lopez is still fresh in our heads we are thinking the underdog will win by force of sheer will power and toughness.

 

and an old, shot to hell Morales, who had his last significant stoppage against maybe Espadas in 2004, who couldn't even make weight busted Garcia up. so....

Not only that look at Khans fights when the toughness was brought to him Maidana almost got him out of there, Prescott starched him and Peterson beat him he does not deal with that kind of fighter too well. Or hasnt yet, he does great against shot to **** Judahs, or Shot to **** Barerras but when it comes to a young guy who brings it he has cracks in his game.
