David Haye vs. Dereck Chisora RBR

Well if the 4th best HW from Britain can beat Helenius and give Vitali his toughest fight since Lewis than maybe you could say that fans underrate the HW scene in the UK? :smoke

Whatever you think about Chisoras ability and skill within the ring everything up until this suggested he was one tough mofo. It was very impressive that Haye got him out of there within 5.

 

You see IB, when Adamek was hitting air 90% of the time that air was blowing gently against Chambers and that builds up. Effective Air Control is a key area of judging and Adamek won that by a landslide.

 

The bit about Vitali says more about Vitali being an old man. Helenius perhaps isn't as good as his record indicates.

I don't thing fans over here under-rate our HW scene, I think many are already crowing Price a future world champion with some saying Fury is top 10 worthy already.

 

What other HWs in the world would you back to take care of Chisora in the same fashion that Haye did tonight?

I reckon Wlad would take him out late. Who else would stop Chisora in your opinion?

 

Wlad would be a neigh on certainty, I'd fancy Price to at very least deck him. Huck would give him nightmares, maybe not stop him but hurt him. Mitchell might be worth a shot and so to could Ruiz Jr (though that'd be an outside shot)

The division doesn't have many power punchers, even Vitali is more of an accumulator.

 

Yeah I fancy Price would put him on his arse as well. Mitchell and Ruiz Jr. would never have Chisora in the trouble that Haye had him in tonight. Huck would be a great fight but he would never hurt Chisora, catch him with many shots maybe but he couldn't even buzz Chisora.

But even with your long shots there is only 2 fighters in the world that you are confident that could put Chisora on the deck. That is why Haye deserves credit. Even you can admit that it takes alot to stop Chisora, Haye was very impressive tonight.

Was his performance enough to convince that he could beat Wlad or Vitali? Nah but in terms of the division outside of the Klitsckos it was a marvellous performance from Haye.

Chisora was up after the round was over. They should have let him go to his corner...

 

Anyone noticed when Chisora rocked and sent Haye stumbling back with left hook there was still 11 seconds 'till end of the 3rd round but for some reason referee jumped in early.

Very fishy..
