Silly Silly man. He rushes in to try and ko his opponent when he is under pressure his chin is appalling he has now lost to Prescott Peterson and Garcia (even Maidana rocked him)

Khan needs to go back to the drawing board and get used to fighting in England again, he needs a long break and needs to think things through

Dont get me wrong he should be able to come back but it will be a long long road.

    credit to Garcia,

    whats next? A brook Fight?

Amir Khan has reached his zenith. He hasn't got the brains to benefit from his natural talent and athleticism. He's made his money, he's had a good career. He should retire - or at the very least have a long time off!!!

even Brook is a stretch to be honest, he should fight maybe a Theophane or someone like that, or even a complete eurobum.

Khan has no chin and no power.. all he has is speed.

His career is good as over in the light welterweight division for sure!

I think he should retire, anything other than big money world class fights is too much of a step down. Why would he fight Theophane? There would be no money or kudos in it.

He should take his vast fortune and have a nice life, young and happy.

    Saj Mohamed's twitter

He's finished ... Peterson beat him, OK he was on test and I didn't score it for LP but he had enough of the fight that plenty people did, Prescott starched him which was put down to inexperience and catching a hard puncher at the wrong time, Maidana had him all over the place in the last few rounds of his fight and now this one ... he has no excuses here.

It's over for Khan at the top level, he has no punch resistance and panics under fire.

He should fight Brook or retire ... preferably retire.

I'm actually gutted even though this has only confirmed what everyone kind of suspected.

I thought he took Maidana`s shots pretty well, the lad can bang a bit and although hurt Khan took them, held on and fired back.I was to be honest expecting what we saw tonight in that fight even though Maidana looked a weight below Khan
Anyway you are right its a long road back and every guy he faces is going to fancy the job.I would go for Brook if I were him,Khan has nothing to lose in that fight and it would if nothing else give him a decent goodbye purse.
I think he beats Brook but what do I know I thought tonights fight would end the way it did but the other way round.

Chinless wonder. Like we saw when he was getting dropped by domestic level competition early on in his career, the man cannot take a punch. Its time to accept the hype jobs career is finished, as you cannot train a chin.

I say just go for the Kell Brook fight and see what happens.. Kell will be licking his lips after this... I'd fancy Brook to finish Khan though

I just watched it again and in fairness Khan took so many huge punches. there were at least 3 huge shots in that 4th round that would have levelled any 140lb'er

the rebuild for Khan is going to be very very difficult, he will go nowhere near Garcia in the near future so will get hammered for avenging that defeat.

147 is a very good division with obviously bigger men and harder punchers, hard to see what he does next.

Agree with most of your comments tbh.

Khan has no boxing IQ he rushes in when he is under pressure and he has done this in his last 4 fights he never learns.

He needed to get in and out in and out and break Garcia down that way. but as soon as he got hit with a decent shot he went into "crazy mode" and started going wild which got him put on his ass.

Did anyone else get the feeling that Khan was nervous walking into the ring? Also he refused the cameras entry into his dressing room which i find abit strange, he never done this.

He was beaten by the better chap tonight and will regret this.

If he does not learn from his mistakes he will never be able to get back to the level he has been fighting at.

Yeah he took Maidanas shots well but he was still hurt and done exactly what he did this morning and go over kill get in a scrap instead of being sensible about his shots.

    Back to england for Khan.
