No I would not I already knew Chisora was a tomato can. Why do you think Wlad showed interest?? He wants to hold on to his worthless belts and fight non risky fights. Wlad is holding heavyweight boxing hostage because he is scared to get hit.
:good And Wlad could take the Hayemaker´s punch in the 12. Haye landed not much on Chisora took him down with one shot which Haye could not against Wlad. And Haye is a big puncher! Vitali could not knock Chisora out, Haye could. Wlad is the No 1 Heavyweight and IMO Haye is No 2. Than Vitali.
Truth is Vladimir is too good, Haye, toe or no toe, couldnt find a way in without getting hit hard, hes fast but so is Vlad, and Vlads also got a world class jab for Haye to try get round. Haye should of put it on the line that night, open himself to getting hit hard so he could hit hard in return and knock him out cuz he was never guna win on points. But its easier said than done. Especially when your giving so much away on height, weight and reach. And when you cant do things you want to do, when you feel you cant afford to take too many risks, and are losing the rounds, well sometimes you gotta admit your in with a better boxer.
Wlad didn't anything against Haye either. He won by jabbing all night. Hell, Haye landed more power punches. What a crap fight that was.
Big diference in these fights was that in the Chisora fight Haye wanted to fight and was actually throwing a lot of punches. Probably more in this fight than Wladimir has thrown in his whole life. In the Wlad fight, Haye didn´t even try to throw as hard and many punches as he did in the Chisora fights first minute. This only shows that if Haye really wanted to box against Wlad, he would win. He will win over Vitali if he takes it serious and really wants it.
Except for being an agressor the entire fight. Haye was on the backfoot and didnt engage at all. Wlad was running after him all fight and landed much more. You can hate Wlad all you want but you can't deny that he outboxed, outsmarted Haye. Wlad won a decisive decision. Although I do agree that he should have tried a lot harder to KO Haye.
Eh stop glorifying Wlad's performance like it was some kind of masterpiece. Neither guy delivered, Haye just significantly less with his abysmal workrate. Fighting on his backfoot is basically Haye's style, he hardly ever comes forward. I don't see how Wlad "outsmarted" Haye either. He jabbed him all night to a deserving decision, that's about it. Ring IQ was really of no significance that night.
or MrToe could have koed wlad with a wellplaced right.. or left. he hits hard enough to ko ***** wlad silly.
Haye beats Old Vitali. Too fast, and unlike his brother, Vitali will engage Haye. Thats where he will be beaten. His age will tell.
I'm not sure how anybody can argue that Wlad did anything but show that he is a much better fighter than Haye. Wlad won pretty much every round even with Haye running for his life and looking like he was terrified, wanting to be anywhere but in the ring with Wlad. Not a shining moment for Haye to say the least.
the klitschko's fight to win, not to sell popcorn for the fans - and they are very good at it. if you want them to fight like arturo gatti - without thinking and using their assets - you can't expect them to make everyone else look ordinary, which is what they do very well.
