Hello :huh that is why I said I am loving the matchmaking at GBP, they put in competitive fights not like Top Rank who over protect their fighters. Josesito Lopez might just pull it off against Canelo.
I think it's genius without trying to be... Think about it, they just made 2 stars out of Lopez & Garcia. (+ they still have Ortiz & Khan, Win/Win) Add to that the upset bug being in the air... People will tune into the Alvarez fight to see what happens.
I laugh at the fact that De Lahoya knows he is putting Bob Arum to shame with the GBP fights. Like you said he is creating stars while Arum is creating over protected fighters over at Top Rank. I believe that is why Showtime is not putting that many of his fights over there, they are not buying what he is selling. I can smell a robbery if Martinez outboxes Chavez Jr. :blood:think
