Look at Khan after the first two knockdowns. It's arguable Khan should've never been allowed to be knocked down the third time, he was in lala land for a long time. If you were a true Khan fan you'd be thankful that it was stopped where it was, Khan was getting outclassed and could've taken a terrible beating. As it is he was busted up and knocked down 3 times, what the **** is wrong with you?

I love that Dirrell is only known for getting close to beating Froch and has his share of people who actually think he won.

Froch wasn't close to beating Ward, but what else is he supposed to say? 'I got owned, I'm a paper champion just holding the title intill Ward decides to come collect it'

 

Really, well let's have a little closer look at Amirs career since the Prescott KO. Now I like Khan, he makes for exciting fights because he's fast but limited and he has some dodgy whiskers...

Oisin ***an - domestic level average fighter at that.
Barrera - Stopped an old MABs on cuts, less said about this the better for Khan IMO.
Kotelnik - In Khans words "the worst champion out there right now", straight up and down orthodox average fighter with no power to trouble Khan.
Salita - an over-protected bum, working the circuit in New York for years. I saw this guy fight in the flesh in 2008 against an unknown at MSG and got awarded a gift victory, not long before the Khan fight.
Malignaggi - Gatekeeper - Couldn't burst a wet paper bag at 140, already destroyed by Hatton
Maidana - Khans best fight but he was hurt and in trouble at the end of that fight when his game collapsed.
McCloskey - Who? Tune Up fight
Zab Judah - About 6 years past his prime and had fought no one of note in that time.

His game fell apart by the mid rounds regardless of PED use.
Garcia - He got KTFO in 4 rounds, could have been 3.

That's him lost 2 fights on the trot, whatever way you look at it.

 

Damage accumulates, the third knockdown was from a shot high up on the head and wouldn't have knocked down somebody who was ready to fight on.
I'm not a fan of Khan or his style but I'm glad he wasn't seriously hurt, the fight should've been stopped earlier than it was.

 

So if Floyd Mayweather fought Amir Khan 10 times, Khan would win 4 of those fights?

Dude, his eyes were rolling around in his head and his legs were gone. He would have been down again in seconds as he refused to hold and stupidly preferred to push Garcia back into range were he would get tagged again. He was on his way to a serious injury and ended up with an MRI scan as it was.
