That shoulda got stopped after the 1st KD, he was out on his feet. Khan luckily didn't get caught flush after that or would of been in serious trouble. That chin is a curse.. :-( Don't want to take anything away from Garcia but I don't think he's particularly good. He was losing every round comfortably until he exposed khans chin.:deal
He had the round break and most of the fourth to regain his legs, and couldn't. He was wobbling off everything, I think Bayless called it off at about the right time. He gave him a fair chance to get back into it but stopped it before he could get seriously hurt.
No, Bayless could see it in Khans eyes, he was in wonderland. He actually repeats to him "hey are you alright?" in the kind of tone you ask a guy that you just found lying in the middle of the street.
At the time of the stoppage, Khan had backed into the ropes to stay up. His legs were gone, and he couldn't get out of the way of Garcias punches. If he was elusive, it would be a different story, but khan was getting hit with everything. Sometimes you have to protect the fighters from themselves. That was some brutal punishment in the fourth.
He was on absolute silly street. It seems like people don't really know Khan's actions and features. If you've followed him for a long time, you'd know that he was staeming drunk at the stoppage. We've seen that face before. Bayless was magnificent. He could have stopped him right away, but instead gave him a very long count. He's the best ref for me,even better than Smodger. If people like King Khan really cared about the guy, they'd know he was in danger of getting seriously hurt. He's an exciting fighter, and while I'm no big fan,I'd hate to see him get hurt. And as I've said before,he's punch drunkeness waiting to happen.
I wanted Bayless to let the fight continue just so I can see Khan get KTFO DEE-BO STYLE. Khan is lucky the ref wasn't Jay Nady.
A young taleted fighter like Khan it was good to stop it where it was stopped. One more big punch may have hospitalized him. He will have another day.
After the first knockdown Jim Watt commentating on Sky sports said ' it's over' 'he won't recover from that' 'the fights over' And he was right. It could have been stopped there. If Baylis had let it go on longer than he did, khan was going to be rendered unconscious in a similar way to how Hatton was vs pac
Does this forum have any kind of moderation ? Because there are some seriously sick ****ers on here wanting to see career ending ko's. Man you guys are some big time low life loosers, do you have so little in your life, and get so terribly jelouse of a boxer like kahn that all you can do is throw out sick **** to look cool. Some of you need to grow the **** up. And it was a good stopage in my opinion, the ref was doing his job, protecting a fighter from lasting damage.
When rocked his defense dissapears and he take a long time to recover. A good ref cant let that happen. So the fight was over whether the ref let it go on or stop it then. So no he made the right chioce to stop it.
:deal There is a line you don't cross and thats wishing permanent damage to a fighter. It's not nice thing to happen to anybody. There are no winners when that happens and would likely cause trauma to the fighter who ends someone's career, knowing they were responsible for causing such damage and distress.
