My fear is that Khan will have long term problems because of his lack of defence. He has been brutally knocked out twice already and been in some wars and that's not good for the long run. He needs to change a trainer not this part time Roach he has.

That's a ****-poor comparison.Do you really think there was any chance of Khan coming back anytime soon and KO'ing Garcia?
You're talking about someone renowned for his iron-chin against someone who's notorious for his glass mandible.

By that logic, Froch should have retired when he lost of Andre Dirrell. Loses happen in boxing, and they have different contexts and implications. I actually agree with the idea that Khan should retire, but for totally different reasons than what Froch is suggesting.

Except Froch didn't lose to Dirrell.

I agree, Khan is done at that level, he doesn't have honest pop, no defence and a despicable chin.

It was only last week froch was saying that it would be an easy KO victory for kahn. Now he says he should retire. Just concentrate on yourself and don't get involved in someone else's career decision.

Let me preface this by saying I'm NOT a Khan fan. That being said, the notion that he should retire because he suffered a TKO defeat is absurd. NEWSFLASH: Boxers lose fights . . . sometimes in devastating fashion. Lennox got KTFO'd back in '94 as champ and then went on to recover and continue his hall of fame career (during which he would get KTFO'd again). Just cuz you get KO'd or TKO'd doesnt mean you're a worthless bum, it just means you met your match on that particular night.

There is long list of boxers with storied careers who've gotten KTFO'd in the beginning and/or middle of their careers.

Some of them include boxers currently ranked in the p4p top 5. Think Pacquiao, Sergio Martinez and even "ATG" HW Champion Wlad Klitschko. So, please people, let's keep things in perspective.

I look forward to seeing A Mere Con get KTFO'd on many more occasions in the future. Cheers to that. :cheers

He cannot take a shot. Literally any decent power shot is going have him doing the funky chicken. It's going to make bouncing back very difficult IMO.

What about this Khan "retire" for a few months ... comeback and face Ricky Hatton in a massive fight in Britain with two suspect chins - there will be DRAMA

Carl Froch is a ****ing **** simple as. He loses my respect everytime he talks about how much better he is than any other britsh fighter REGARDLESS OF weight class. He needs to shut his mouth and concentrate on banging his slag of a girlfriend and leaving other fighters to do well. He will never get the coverge other fighters do because he has zero charisma.

Froch is an arrogant ****. Ward completely schooled him. He wasn't even competitive. He also lost to Dirrell, even the Brits deep down know that but won't admit it.

Khan is 25, he may very well accomplish more than Froch in his career. Why would he retire? Almost every fighter loses.
