There seems to be a lot of "I told you so"'s comments and the like being dished out against Khan.

Khans always had amazing hand speed and blinding combinations that put him above the parapet and get him world titles. And he's always had a weak chin and a poor defence to protect it so was always vulnerable.

So is he a waste of talent? I have said in a previous comment that he's always going to be complacent, but now is showing he's indisciplined and doesn't learn form his mistakes.

I'm seeing another waste of talent, unless he makes serious changes. I believe He can be better than the last 3 fights we've seen. He can ressurect his career.

He has had a good career so far,won world titles, been in big fights in America and has been one of the most exciting fighters of the last decade but overall with the talent he has he should never have lost to Prescott or Garcia,id bet my life it wont be the last time he gets knocked out like that..

I've always felt that he was matched to soft early in his career. He got fights he learnt nothing from.

The biggest puncher he faced before Prescott was a over-the-hill much smaller Gomez.

Yes, with where he was after Athens, I would say yes. He had to many yes men around him, he should have gone G and moved to London, he would have soon toughened up.

He's been world champion and made millions, he hasn't wasted his talent.

If anything, he's done well to get this far with that chin of his.

I guess you're saying that this is as good as Khan can get? Because I honestly think if he plays to his strengths theres very few who can cope with him.

Not saying hes a knockout artist, just saying the kid can hit and move all day if he just had the brains to control a fight.

How is the guy a wasted talent? 4 years ago he got laid out on his back KO'd by an unknown fighter and was completely wrote off. He in return managed to beat 4 top ten LWW's at the time and only lost narrowly to Peterson, not to mention unifying titles and being considered the number one LWW throughout late 2010/early 2011, he definitely didnt waste his talent but what happened last night was always bound to happen because as talented as he is, he is just as flawed! Im not sure where he goes next but his career definitely isnt one that reflects him as a wasted talent. No way.

No. Not a waste of talent at all. He's done pretty well for himself considering his comparative lack of talent.

No IMO, He's won world titles, he's beaten world class fighters and earned good money. Could he of been better yes, but talent is a small part of the fight game and he's done well when really relying heavily on his speed of hand and foot. There's parts of his game that are poor and drawback from his talent and stop him going from a good fighter to a great fighter. I don't mean skills, i mean mentally aspects which only he can change and sadly i don't think he will..

His not what i would call a natural boxer or fighter, although he has the heart of a warrior and that hasn't been manufactured that's something he was born with.

    Not really.

He's been blessed with great speed.

But he has no chin and he hasn't got a boxing brain.

This is about his level. He could easily go into a fight with Garcia and outbox him for 12 rounds or he could easily go in there and get sparked in a round. His career will always be like this against anybody with above average power.

anybody can look good on the pads, but the pads dont hit back

which is why pads shouldnt be used, they encourage bad habits like making unnecessary loud noises to tell your opponents when your throwing, or to drop your hands after a combination

If Khan is a "waste of talent" after all he has achieved, then he hasn't done too bad has he?!

Let him rematch Garcia, then face Bradley (Tim doesn't want that fight) and then a move up to 147.

But he needs to switch trainers though!

I hear the comments being made, I have always rated khan as world class and he has achieved quite a lotwith quite a lot of years left in him.

But just wanted to gauge the feeling of whether he has peaked or has more in the locker - the latter being the waste of talent reference as hes not exploiting the talent he has, which is what I think.
