TBH I'd have alot more respect for the man (no pun) if he lost 3 straight to the top ranked competitors then 100 ******s pulled from the pub anyway.

I didn't watch the fight but like everyone else here I couldn't care less about Mundine until he fights someone who isn't a bum or an old journeyman. Mundine is a nobody in the world of boxing.

I am far from his biggest fan but he did look rather sharp today. However, McKart looked all of his 41 years, he had no zip and was laying on the ropes for most of the fight inviting Mundine to pick him off.
Mundine still looks very shaky when he is put on the back foot (not that it happened all that much today) and is asking for KO when he turns his back on an opponent. A fight with Trout/Cotto/Chavez Jnr would be a massive test for him as they won't let him dictate the fight liked he did. Will need to fight (and defeat) better credentialed fighters than he did today to get a shot at any of them and going on his past history he won't.

No-One except Prime Minister, who declared December 25 a Public Holiday

Jeff Fenech is obviously the final piece in the jigsaw, and all that stood between Anthony Mundine and stardom

Couldn't bring myself to pick the Fraud in the tipping comp.
In terms of importance on the world boxing scene the McKart fight must rank somewhere between DeMori's defeat of Calloway and Billy Dib beating Juan Antonio Rodriguez on Friday night.

The big noting will be intolerable. It'll be taken to a new level now.
There's a bloke called Gennady Golovkin who's looking for an opponent on 25/8/12.
Put your hand up Mandy and show us all you've got the balls.
