Khan is now in the same position as Wlad Klit after his loss to Brewster

    1. 2 losses in his last 2 significant fights, 3 losses total

    2. Considered chinless and beatable by anyone with a punch. Even Vitali thought Sam Peter was going to KO his brother before their fight and had to be banned from camp because of his negativity

    3. Great physical athleticism, height and range for his weight class like Wlad

    4. Both the best jabs in their respective divisions

5.. Gives up his height and reach advantages too easily at this stage of their careers. In Khan's case trying to hook with hookers, not fighting to his strengths

Khan isn't quite technically as good as Wlad though, not as good a puncher and he slaps.

If Khan learnt to fight like Wlad does now or like Monzon, he'd be very hard to beat, poor chin or not

Khan if he get's the right trainer will be a P4P fighter and would win a rematch against Peterson and Garcia

As a Wlad fan i can agree on these comparisons, though Khan lacks that fight ending power and seems more polished than post Brewster Wlad

meaning I couldnt see Khan at this stage getting monumentally bigger

to be honest Khan reminded me more of Lewis

Wlad lost to Brewster on flat out exaustion

Lewis was the one who'd get caught while in control like Khan was last nite

Though the Prescott fight and Sanders fight were very similar two blitzkriegs and that never happened to Lewis

the difference is that the HW division was full of bums like that guy who he fought at the garden, the bouncing banker, Calvin Crock and eddie chambers..

the welterweight division, is teaming with talent! think it will be more difficult for amir to overcome that.

I've stated this myself a couple times, and so have to agree. It's not a complete rework that Khan needs - he just needs to stay behind that jab for the first half of the fight and wear his opponent down before starting to engage. Like Wladimir.

Pretty good comparison... Khan doesn't have the power of Wlad though ( pound for pound) and he's not tall enough to fight like wlad has after that fight

Wlad is only able to do that because he's 4 or 5 inches taller than his opponents.. it's a tactic that rarely works outside of super hws...

Wlad only gets away with his fighting style because of his physical advantages and horrible competitors in the heavyweight division

No way does Khan get away with winning, performing like the current Wlad, if ever he tried to adopt that fighting style.

Good comparison but Khan doesn't as mush physical advantage as Wlad has.

Khan won't be fighting obese midgets either.

You're forgetting one very important thing. Klychko is Ukrainian, Khan is Pa-ki. Angel Garcia is disappointed in your inability to do simple math.

McCall caught him with one shot eyes closed

Khan and Wlad both got ambushed with multpile shots dropped more than once and stopped

neither were in control at any point

    they were slightly different

Wlad has never been sparked like Khan was against Prescott. The only fight that Wlad lost that was a Chin issue was Sanders. The Purrity and Brewster fights had nothing to do with the Chin. Khan has clear Chin issues. Not that Wlad has a great Chin he doesn't but it is not near as bad as Khan.
