Another FLOORED...! What does the term "knocked out" mean to you?

    According to the posters 'Vidic' and 'oibighead', Amir Khan was knocked the **** out by Danny Garcia...

    This is not my understanding of the term knocked the **** out at all.

    It really doesn't matter. If you're knocked out by a 10 count or on your feet,you still lose. Winning and losing is the bottom line. Khan lost, now lets move on.

    You're right he wasn't KTFO (Knocked the **** out). He was merely KTFA (Knocked the **** around).

    Our apologies. In all future posts we will make it clear that Khan got KTFA.

    I thought knocked the **** out means a certain someone is OUT? Like Ricky hatton against PAC type ****.... Khan was stopped, but not knocked the ****

    Khan is irrelevant here really. In boxing terms, the term 'knocked the **** out' means to actually be knocked out and be unable to beat the count. It doesn't apply to a guy who has been falling all over the ring and needs put out of his misery by the referee. Simply two completely different things. Both devastating ways to lose, but different. That's the point here.
