With evreyone focusing on the two fights this weekend many people have missed announcements for what looks like a quadrouple header. It lookes like the Canelo vs Lopez undercard has on it

    Marcos Maidana vs Jesus Soto-Karass
Jhonny Gonzalez vs Daniel Ponce de Leon
    Abner Mares vs TBA

    Thoughts?

    That's not bad.

I've been looking forward to Gonzalez-Ponce. Jhonny is always fun to watch and both guys have ko power, combined with leaky defences. Barring a styles clash, that should be fun.

You know what to expect with Maidana and Soto-Karass - should be a nice little slug-fest.

Mares is a guy who's made me a believer over the last couple of years. I'm sure he won't be facing anyone too good here but I enjoy watching him. If they put him in with a live body, this undercard will have shaped up pretty well.

    Sweet!
Gonzalez Vs. De Leon deserves top billing tho.
Maidana Vs. JSK...ehhh fully expect Marcos to win this.
Mares added on is a bonus...
Alvarez Vs. Lopez, Canelo does what he is supposed to do.

    Pretty good card!
Not enough for me to watch live tho. (DVR status)

    Exactly.

That's what I was thinking. It's a pretty good card. GBP is doing all it can within its budge to steal the spotlight from Martinez-Chaver, Jr.

DVR status for the ShowTime card for sure!!!!!!

They're obviously trying to stop people buying the Chavez PPV. On the plus side hopefully this makes Arum put on a stronger undercard for Chavez/Martinez.

I'm going for lopez no matter how many think it will be a blowout and i also think karass is too strong for maidana.
