Was on the undercard last night, feel bad for Matty Hall was on the end of a terrible decision I scored it 117-112 to Hall
It was bollocks decision mate, no one will make a big deal of it though cause there no huge names in the sport but that **** judging could influence halls decision to retire especially after the same thing happens against Webb in his previous fight I hope hall keeps his head up and carries on Good kid
I had it 116-115 to Spike. Nothing wrong with the decision but the margin that two judges scored it to Spike was puzzling. A lot of close rounds though.
I with the majority of people thought Matty won last night and won well. Paul Smith who scores a fight well had Matt by 4 John Rawlings by 3 and I spoke to Pascal Collins afterwards and he said he couldn't grumble if Hall got it by 2. Let's not forget Matty is a lightmiddle but this chance came so we took it and really beat the bigger guy. On a better note Ronnie Heffron had a good win against the experienced Peter Mcdonagh, Ronnie got his jab goin very well and will have a good fight next time, Ronnie looking better everyday in the gym and now he's starting to put it into practice in fights.
Nothing wrong with the decision Slap the only 4 people in the country who had Spike winning was you and the judges, the decision was utter BOLLOCKS
Gutted for matty not having no luck at the minute but he trains hard an sure his time will come, after last night can't wait to get back in the ring! Early sep been told will no this week
good news that he is carrying on he looked really devestated afterwards and rightly so. Considering this spike was meant to be a banger and Hall was fighting at middle he was clearly the aggressor and much better fighter on the night. Hall's record looks a but shitty after the last 2 defeats in which i believe he won both of them. Would like to see him go back down to light middle and keep using that head movement and jab, he still defo has alot to offer.
hall was busier spike landed with more cleaner shots very hard fight to score ...dont know hoe smith gave hall the last 4 rounds as spike defo got the last two a fight that really could have went either way but no robbery
Hardly a robbery when the two lads basically stand toe-to-toe for the majority of the fight. A lot of close rounds, so it was difficult to score. Pascal Collins deserved a bit of luck anyway, after Ormond was robbed by Appleby. Was pissed off listening to how Hall was a Light Middle throughout the fight. Both men are Light Middles
Wrong pal Spike was on the back foot for majority of the fight and he was clearly the much bigger man, the decision was Shite :good
