Good to see the guy made a name for himself and does what he loves. What a champion, that smile says it all! Good work Ash :good
Yep thats Ash, he looked stoked as. Good work but i got to call it what it is, a bought show, would like to see the PPV numbers than would have an idea of how much money was made. Main Event PPV numbers that is.
mckart was trying to ko mundine. it wasnt a thrown fight. i dont know where you blokes get this **** from.
He was well out of his depth in that fight. Although he was doing well, it seemed mundine didnt really apply himself untill the body shot which backed Bronco to the ropes
so what mundine campaining at?middle or junior middle cos floyd and manny are welter and junior....so can someone tell me why the **** is mundine fighting at middle? please its doin my ****in head in...
APART from Woods fight. Clearly a shocking loss, they should not have even been fighting and Mundine got KTFO. Probably did not prepare as should have, and with the dropping in weight business he got done. But if that fight did not happen then sure. He beat Geale, so he would have on paper been better than him (still is anyhow)
mate not many guys fight non major fights at their real weight unless they are fighting above it in big fight, ala Floyd and Pac - who are really lightweights. Mundine was 156lb and lighter the day before. He now has a new trainer on hand to gtake of making weight.
Is Ash the the guy behind Mundine who looks over 6 ft tall with balding head ? What is Ash's role with Mundine. Is he some sort of manager type for Team Mundine or just close friends ? Was Vlad Wharton also there, Tszyu's old manager ?
He waffled on somewhat after the fight, he's really out of his depth in front of a mic. As for how he looked, I was rather disappointed in that. He didn't look much at all, like I said in another thread, that was just 2 old journeymen at work. Cotto would kill him, PBF would kill him to death. Neither will happen. :deal
It's called foxing/playing possum bro. If Choc had iced McKart in 1 or 2, do you think anyone would be paying any attention to him now? He carried Bronco for 6 rounds and then showed them all what he can do. He even had Larry Homes saying he's a good fighter but takes too much time off in each round. That's good, because it will make Money think he's an easybeat :hey
