Shavers was a 70s carbon-copy of Sam Peter, just much worse. Haye would with this easily, Shavers only hope is landing one big lucky punch.

  2. Shavers was like Randall Bailey, Haye would knock **** out of him

Can't remember which of the ATG's from that era said in response to Frazier's claim to being responsible for Ali's parkinson's, "No, if it was anyone, it was Shavers." Ernie landed on Ali and he would land on Haye.

 Why on earth would Haye have to potshot Shavers when he could flatten him with the first solid shot his lands. You overrate Shavers abilities and physical traits enormously.

Shavers was more like current Seth Mitchell. Peter at least had a chin.

Since when are boxers neurological experts and since when is Haye a flat-footed shot Ali?

Would Haye run from Shavers....or would he get "Norton-ized".

oh lord, the Haye-tards are back. One ****ing win over a guy WHO LOST TO TYSON FURY and he'd beating Shavers, both Klits, Ali, Jack Dempsey and Evander Holyfield with one toe tied behind his back.

    GTFO...Shavers Bute-fies him within 2 rounds.

Probably Haye's speed and accuracy would win it for him.

Unless he was psyched out and ran and flopped all fight

I have never understood the obsession with Shavers in here. He didn't KO any of the good fighters he fought but Norton who was Chinny anyway. Haye throws the straighter, faster, more accurate punches and would win.

No, you act like Haye is some bum ****.

Shavers lost to some terrible guys.
Time for people to get in touch with reality.
Apart of some "hardest puncher" moniker, he was very average.
Ppl. should stop selling themselves so easy to those myths about 70's fighers and start to see the things as they are.
