"I'm going to sit down when I go home and see where we go from there," he added. "I want to be the main priority.

"A lot of travelling - going to the Philippines, here, there, everywhere - does take a lot out of you, especially when you're a young fighter and I've never done it before.

"I'm going to start thinking about myself because normally I'm thinking about others too much and I'm the one who's in the ring taking the punishment. It's time now where maybe I do things a bit differently.

"When you're nice and just agree with everything, sometimes even though you're not happy doing things, you just do them. But I'm going to have to sit down with the team now and do things I want to do.

"There are a lot of untied knots there and we're going to fix them."

I think it's the correct thing to do, personally.

Floyd Sr said he willing to train Khan as he has no defence and he had a dig at Roach too.

Khan should hook up with Sr

Why? So he can paw with a jab, have no balance and generally be a dickhead?

Hell even Floyd Jr abandoned Floyd Sr.

Sr made Jr from when Floyd jr was a kid, Roger took over later on.

    I agree.

As harsh as it sounds, Roach's health is deteriorating, Khan is not the priority and has learnt all he can with Freddie IMO

Just hope he parts amicably (something which I doubt Team Khan can do sadly).

As for who and what next? :conf

I just hope he recognises that he isn't elite level and that its not a bad thing to come home and fight lower opposition in order to rebuild. A fight for the Euro is not a bad thing but I just can't see it happening.

Honestly, a Prescott fight makes sense now. He's badly in need of a confidence booster, he could fight him, right a wrong and promote it as the comeback. Garcia won't move up for a while so that rematch could be there.

Imagine 2013 for Khan if he fought and beat Prescott then Garcia and maybe PEDerson and ended it as unified champ again. Now thats a comeback.

If Khan goes with Sr, I'd wager that the first half decent opponent he faces will knock him spark out.

It'd be an unqualified disaster. He's just not built for reflex based defence, slipping punches and ****.

He's as slick as a lamppost I'm afraid.

you only have to wath behind the ropes to know things weren't right.

YOu had freddie roach away, you had some new phillapino trainer who kept telling khan to get lower!!!!

Then you had the sparring where Khan was getting tagged to **** against an amateur and if they didnt have head gear on and smaller gloves khan would have been ko'd.

I couldn't believe how much the sparring partner was tagging Khan!! Ive been saying this for a long time now, every time you see Khan on the pads its the same combination he throws constantly. He never varies anything. Even after the Peterson loss he wouldn't admit that he was poor and he needed to improve his boxing skills. He was on ringside and he was bemused when Johnny Nelson asked what he would do in the rematch to beat Peterson, he just kept on mumbling "angles...angles..create angles".

Khan has really grew on me as a fighter, he genuinely wants the tough fights out there and has fought some excellent competition. He has a terrible chin we all knew that before the Garcia fight. He needs to move camp and go to a trainer that will make him the priority. Maybe a fight with John Murray or Prescott.

Khan is still a big name in the UK that will never change. He needs to learn to protect that chin and stay on the outside.

I dont like Khan particularly but I think it is the best thing to do. I have been the 2nd or 3rd priority boxer before and it is no use.
