The Klitschko brothers leave UBP in 2004 and they are K2 Promotion.

Bönte is just the manager and he has a part of KMG. But not of K2 Promotion. The Klitschko decided who they fight.

If Vitali will not fight Haye, he will not, not Bönte. Bönte has to made the deal but the boss are both brothers.

I'm talking as a fighter. Haye in that fight was more pro wrestler than he was boxer. Which is fine from the standpoint of getting an audience so you can see the arrogant not-so-good heel get his comeuppance, but this is a sport. Why on earth should a person pay $60 to watch a guy challenge for the title when the first time he fought he did not even put forth an effort to win? It's why I think any person that pays to watch David Haye fight is just stupid.

 

:thinkWhile the majority of Shaunster's posts have been crap lately with his K2 hate, this one is actually decent, well thought out and appropriately written.

That is if the facts he displays are actually true.

I agree with him on several fronts. The K2 do offer notoriously low "GUARANTEES". There's no doubt about that, but oftentimes the numbers lie as to their dance partners actual final purse.

DelBoy was said to have earned nearly 700K for his fight with Vitali. That's not a short stack for a 17 fight novice. But, it's also been said that Thompson likley made 1.2 mil for his fight with Wlad. Seemingly with low ratings as well. A career payday for most challengers.

I think if Haye wants this fight he should be preparing for it. He had a relatively easy days work with DelBoy and being only 31 he should have no problems with a 2 month turn around between fights.
He should call Vitali out on FB, Twitter, and youtube. He should go across the press and shout it from the mountains that this is his fight and he's ready for Sept 8th and he's accepting the low guarantee.

If Haye does that, I have no doubt he and Vitali will be in the circle together on the 8th of September 2012.
If he waits.......argues over purse split.....or doesn't go to the press verbally agreeing to date and purse, HE IS THE ONE DUCKING....he's the holdup on the fight, NOT Vitali:deal

 

Vitali is 42 this summer. Lewis would have been 38 had the second bout gone forward.
Vitali has visibly slowed and they say the last thing to go is power....well, not when your an arm puncher to start with. He also says he is breaking down and injuries he's suffered during his last 2 fights are indication of that. Knee vs Adamek, shoulder vs Chisora. Lewis was injury free, but visibly carrying an extra 2-5lbs, .000000001% body fat:think He was also coming of his career defining win and stated he was in the BEST shape of his life and looking forward to fighting well into his 40s. There was speculation he might challenge Foreman's record of being the oldest title holder. Lewis had already begun negotiations with RJJ for a megafight prior to the scheduling of Kirk Johnson. When Vitali stepped in for KJ, the RJJ fight fell apart b/c of the nature of the great fight and the NEED for a rematch.

These are completely different circumstances, and the comparisons can not made.

As for Lewis not getting ****....people holding the ducking against him.......Sorry bro......We still hold it against him. Even some of us who are huge Lewis fans hold it against him. :deal
