Yes, he is. He was not very good to start with, and made his name off a decent effort vs. Vitali. Basically, he's now found his true level. He can't beat the better heavyweights and will battle to establish himself as a contender again. It's likely he will be someone to be used as a record padder in the near future. He's tough and game, but he's extremely limited.
no chance. Chisora is not done. He's gought very tough fighters so early in his career. Again, i think a better trainer. He's got the fundamentals.
No. He still sells fights despite his limited ability which equals a very valuable commodity. Will be used against top 20 non title holders now as a stepping stone due to the high level of hype he brings to a fight despite not being up to much from a technical standpoint of view.
It's this attitude of 'He's lost a few so he's done' that is the cause of boxers not taking big fights and padding their records, because if they take risks and lose people think they're done. he has 3/4 losses, but they are all against top 10 opposition. If you're 'done' if you can't beat the top ten then there would only be 10 boxers in each division.
Totally agree with your statement, between Chisora and Haye they sold 40,000 seats, why wouldn't he be in demand for another big payday. The man knows how to sell a fight, he is the "Ricardo Mayorga of the heavyweight division, he comes to fight and his interviews are entertaining.
Look I see Chisora as the heavyweight version of Glen Johnson he can cause the odd big upset and is a tough mofo who will fight anyone anywhere. Also he took his beating like a man so credit to him for this, and he is far from done he is an improving fighter. Haye was always all wrong for him and I think people must of forgot how hard haye hits Speed + velocity + timing = ktfo :good
You really think he's that good? :think He isn't done, but it's time he faces some 'lighter' opponents. In the last 2 years he faced Sexton, Fury, bum, Helenius, Vitali and Haye... That's quite the level of opposition. I don't like to say this, but this guy really needs some serious record padding.
As a few have already said he needs to step back from the very top level and win some fights. 4 - 5 fights at a lower level ( with a better trainer ) and he can be a force in the future. I wouldnt say a force but you know what I mean, a relevant heavyweight
Chisora is like Carson Jones the losses are just gonna make him better and more experienced, he still hasnt had that many fights tho
Chisora's best attribute was his chin. And now that's been cracked, he won't be the same in my opinion. If he lost on points, i don't think the loss would be as damaging. I can't see much going for him now. He needs to work on his power, and speed.
