Ill get this thing started Josey.

Benny Lynch at flyweight. I dont think weve got anyone who could have beat him.

Id go for Lionel Rose at bantamweight. World champion in one of the strongest eras.

It's no certaintly for a win to either I'd say. Ken's skills V Vic's power would have been one for the ages

Sorry mate but looking at his record i would have to go with Ken as he was a proven World class operator whilst Vic on the other hand appears to be an excellent domestic fighter , i know the war must have blighted Vic career but without world class opposition i gotta disagree .

Freddie Dawson was world class. Despite never officially getting a result he seemed to get the better of Ike Williams in their series of fights.

Ken's jab would serve him well against Patrick, cant see it being an easy night for either fella.

Hector Thompson would have given Ken a tough fight too, he really went into the trenches with Duran, many believed he never reached his true potential.

I forgot about Thompson but what's you Aussie boys unbiased opinion , do you think any of your lads seriouslt bests Buchanan ? If it's close we can take it to the classic ( where's the Ipswich express when we need him ) ? :hey

I've never been big on fantasy matches, i will say that Patrick/Thompson/Buchanan were TOUGH guys, i dont see either Patrick or Thompson stopping Buchanan or visa-versa. Problem with Patrick is that we dont have a whole lot of film of him. IMO Buchanan would go into both bouts a comfortable favourite, neither would be a walk in the park, both guys would make Ken work very hard for his victory.

If it were taken over to classic.... i'd be suprised if there was a single poster familiar with Patrick.... and the few familiar with Thompson i think would predict a Buchanan victory
