The Man's path to the top

With a foot in both the Light Middleweight and Middleweight camps, the world is literally at The Man's feet.

He's knocking on Floyd's door, but with Money May out of action in jail just now, I can't see Anthony getting a shot at him this year.

But after winning the IBF North American MW belt by beating McKart, Choc is in a great position to challenge the winner of Geale v Sturm - giving Mundine the chance to partially unify the MW division in a single fight!!! He's beaten Geale once and will easily beat him again should Geale beat Sturm. Come on Geale, I'll be cheering for you to bring home the CHOColates, but don't get too used to the IBF and WBA MW belts because your nemesis The Man will be coming to take them off you again :happy

Once that's done, Money may will see The Man as a much more lucrative opponent but if Floyd stalls or tries to play games, Choc can target the winner of Martinez v JCC jr.

Seriously, beating McKart has opened up so much opportunity for Anthony - he could potentially be the undisputed unified MW champ within 2 fights.

Seriously guys, every now and then The Pioneer comes up with some worthwhile observations and valid points.

Sadly, this is not one of those occasions.

Yes bad loss, but I am sure Mundine leant something from it, like Geale would have in his loss to Mundine.

You guys were all saying Choc would never fight in the US - WRONG!

You guys were all saying Money May doesn't know who Mundine is - WRONG!

Think about it - he keeps saying he wants to become a world champ at 154, but he's keeping his options open by winning a MW title on the weekend. An IBF MW title no less. :deal Who currently holds the IBF MW World title? A man The Man has already beaten. :deal A man who desperately wanted a rematch with The Man after losing to him. :deal If that man unifies MW when he fights Strum in September, then he finally have something worth fighting for - 2 sparkly MW belts. :deal

Floyd will be hard to pin down this year cos he'll need time to get back to his best and fight a tune up, so The Man will take Geale's MW belts and dangle them for Money May to see.

If fighting a unified MW champ doesn't interest Money May, The Man can go on to unify the whole MW division then offer Money again. No way will Money be able to resist 4 MW belts and they will get it on in late 2013.

You haters know I'm right you just don't want to admit it - you're scared that The Man will do exactly what he's been saying all along he'll do - SHOCK THE WORLD!!! :happy
