He kept coming up, he was obviously gone from the first big left hook Garcia landed on him, in the third round.

I know its popular to **** on Khan right now, as was it after he fought Prescott, but I'd like to commend him for his fighting heart, he got smoked and he stood and traded with a banger, reminiscent of Thomas Hearns when he was hurt.

Khan for all his flaws, is an alright watch, at least he's entertaining.

But but...he lost by ko in an entertaining fight!

As a true boxing fan, I would like to have seen him win a boring UD.

this is often overlooked. most boxing fans would like to **** on khan because they hate him for being different.

khan-mayweather at wembley late this year. let's get it on!

I'd certainly give credit to Khan for continuing to get up from the floor, that took a lot of guts. But trading afterwards was just silly and asking to be put down again, I like Khan but he again showed a real lack of ring IQ and all his bravery is going to do at the moment is get him hurt.

People forget how bad the Prescott KO actually was from Khans physical perspective, it was with devastating blows early on in his career and as a young man. Since that fight he has continued to eat some big shots, fair enough he didn't go down again until Garcia BUT it's all accumulative and to top it off with punches like Garcia landed for the first KD...

We've seen what has happened to brave fighters like Khan before, such as Jermain Taylor now.

Khan must change his style completely and avoid being hit at all costs if he wants to continue fighting at the highest level. Not just for W's and L's on his record but for his long term health.

If Khan get's knocked out bad again I worry for him. Admire his bravery as a man though.

Let's not forget he didn't just get up, he got up and landed some big shots on garcia in the process.

Khan has heart just not that great of a chin.

I agree he is entertaining and will continue to sell fights. his problem is he is trying so hard to make people think he has a good chin. Just because he lasted the fight against maidana he believed he could take a good shot.

Big heart or low IQ? Maybe both.

Him trading with Garcia had partially to do with him not knowing what to do, in my opinion. He settled for swinging punches of his own in the hope one of them could hurt and deter Garcia. That’s a clear sign of low IQ.

But I admired and felt sorry for him when seeing his reaction to Bayless wave it off. Quitting and accepting defeat is just not within his nature. If it was up to him, he’d be getting up and pounded to the floor all night.

I could see a look of "Oh for ****s sake not again" on Khans face after the first KD, the thing about Khan is that every time he's been hurt (and thats a LOT as you and I know), he still knows where he is and that hes in a fight, it's not like the famous "are you OK?" "I'm from philidelphia" incident, Khan still has his bearings, his legs just go ape****, I can only imagine how helpless and embarrassing that must feel, which is probably why he tries to slug it out instead of fight smart

i actually felt bad for the kid when bayless ended it. no problem w/ the stoppage mind you. but you could tell he was upset. the kid has zero chin but he has a big heart. i used to find him annoying but i've become a bit of a fan lately. what with him calling out bradely and offering 50/50, figthing basically anyone including guys who clearly could stop him at any moment. taking the tests, other guy fails, etc.

hope he can bounce back but you can't teach someone how to take a punch and he can't take a punch. all the talent in the world but if everything goes to **** the first time you get tagged...makes it tough to make a living at the elite level.

Yeah, that's what it could be - a pride thing. He knows he doesn't have the legs to survive and that defeat is inevitable, so he's got two choices:
    • Hold and survive, and lose.
    • Stand and fight back, and lose.
To him the latter is the only acceptable option.

It's always been fun watching Khan because of that air of vulnerability, but like I couldn't imagine being a fighter like Paulie M who couldn't crack an egg, I also couldn't imagine being a fighter who knows he may go down at any moment, it's probably why he fights so "frantic"

Funny that you didn't write the same thing for Bute after Andrade I and Froch.

I ogtta give it to you Rico, I called Garcia average and said he would be easy pickings for Khan, you said he had the tools to give Khan trouble, you were right.

I remember you and I saying the same thing about the Judah fight, because of Judahs countering abilities, kryptonite against khan is waiting for him to finish, you have to exchange
