Which historical occurance do you think would have sent the forum most bat****?

    I think that perhaps nothing would make the forum quite so crazy as Douglas KO Tyson? The invincible aura surrounding Tyson, the whiff of mediocrity attached to Douglas, the longcount, the immediate attempts by King to wrestle the belts back, the hesitancy in the alphabet soup's organising bodies...would that be your pick or can you think of something even more hellish? Or something approaching it?

    Lennox-Vitali TKO6 has to be the biggest argument over an event in the last 10 years. Right there you have numerous issues, lack of a conclusion to the fight in 1 way, it being the biggest crown in boxing, racial/tribal alliances of fans, lack of a rematch

    If the internet was around for Johnson-Jeffries it'd be fun. Or Clay converting to Muhammed Ali, losing to Frazier and beating both Foreman and Frazier in Manila would cause General Forum meltdown.

    Leonard would obviously be 'exposed' against Duran, the forum would likely meltdown 6months later

    Jeffries Johnson is probably still the most acrimonious subject on the classic forum today, so I dread to think what it would have been like back then.

    After Johnson beat Jeffries, I would have commiserated by draping a black cloth over the computer for a fortnight.

    Sam Langfords overzealous supporters would presumably have been called “Langtards”.

    Jack Dempsey would have had an army of apologists who could not accept that he lost the battle of the long count.

    After Joe Louis lost to Max Schmeling he would have been “exposed as a hypejob”, who was never likely to get anywhere.

    Bowe-Golota 1 and 2 would have been nuts, pun intended. I could see Golota having a shedload of internet support back then. Some would claim he was robbed
