I couldn't stop laughing when I seen Khan do that. He was all over the shop and he had obviously not recovered from the previous knockdowns. He was basically inviting Danny in for a tear up and we all know what happens when Khan trades. He ends up on his backside the majority of time.

Very stupid thing to do when someone like Danny wants to take your head off!

Naazim Richardson has known Danny Garcia since he was 10 years old and said he has seen Garcia knock out middleweights in sparring and that he has more pop on his punches than Shane Mosley. (He has had mitts sessions with Danny).

that's why for this fight more than any other, i predicted a garcia win by KO.

people underate his chin and power. his flaws are he. a bit of a plodder coming forward, does not throw enough to force a fight - he loves guys like khan coming to him opening up. also his hooks are really wide and telegraphed from miles. morales mocked him even though he later got tagged.

kendle holt hit him with his best and in dannys words - he ate it for breakfast

Lets face it, Garcia was being beaten easy. If he did not have the power, he would of been beaten into submission by Amir Khan.

He look clueless in the first 2 rounds, and could not cope with the speed of Khan.

He knew what he was doing, measuring him getting his timing right so he could time Khan and put him out on the counter when he flurrys and leaves himself open, and thats exactly what he did.

Everyone saying this but I thought he looked composed and dangerous even in the first 2 rounds, he was landing some good counters and definitely wasn't being overwhelmed like Maidana and Petersen were.

Plus it's a 12 round fight, Khan winning the first 2 rounds didn't mean ****, he was soon on his arse in the third and hopping round like a kangaroo on LSD.

PK, Khan is a lightening quick starter, not many would cope with the handspeed early, it's Khans greatest asset. it was pretty much a gimme that Khan would take the first half of the fight. it was then a case could Garcia get close enough to apply pressure if he hadn't taken too much early.

If it was round 9 or 10 when that left hook happened after an 8 or 9 round onesided beating then I could half agree with you but Khan won the first two rounds and then got rolled out in the third with the first real shot he took... GAME OVER.

Khan was not caught cold, he was beaten up for 3 minutes and remember he still had a minute to recover from the first shot.

Khan never had the power to trouble Garcia with his flurries, Garcia was more than willingly to take a couple of those shots while landing the counter. After a few times countering to the body, he went upstairs and landed that hard left.

    Game Over from there.

If they fought again, the same happens again unless Khan magically develops power out of nowhere.

It's sad to say it, but he is probably one of the least intelligent boxers currently active. It took him half a career to start to bring his left hand up after throwing. His punch resistance and power come nowhere near where his macho attitude suggests it should. Having that 'fight back when hurt' mentality only serves you well if you have the punch resistance to carry it off, Khan does not.

It is painfully clear that he just wants to prove people wrong, but he should do himself a favour and realise that some of his innate physical limitations are just facts of life. He has to work around them, not put on a macho attitude and pretend they don't exist.

Unfortunately I don't think Khan is bright enough for this to really click. I expect him to come back and fight in a very similar fashion, be effective for a number of fights (and look impressive) until he gets cracked again and nothing will have changed.

As for people saying Khan should have covered up, Khan is quite poor at covering up, he's not resilient enough and just stands there like he has a point to prove (again). Also, he can't tie up well at all either.

All this said, I was very disappointed in the result. Khan was on course for a fight with Mayweather. While I don't necessarily think he would win that fight, the styles make it way more interesting than any other options for Floyd other than Manny and perhaps Sergio. Mayweather is obviously a way better counter puncher than Garcia (and everything else), but I doubt he has the same power, so Khan could probably last longer, and let's be honest, he looked exceptional until his chin was cracked.
