Boxrec have Haye Chisora now but it a No Contest!!

    They have put it up but its listed as NC with a small line underneath saying Haye wins by 5th round TKO

    So stupid!!

    BoxRec's reaction to the Haye/Chisora fight has been really disappointing, I think. They're one of the best sites on the internet and have provided an amazing resource for boxing fans. Why they feel the need to cheapen it all with this petulant behaviour, I don't know. It's pathetic. They aren't even consistent with this.

    The fight was legally sanctioned and that's all there is to it.

    I think they may just be waiting to see if anthing official happens with the result. I know it was sanctioned and all above board.

    But with it being luxemburg and bbbofc saying it shouldnt be happening and all the speculation there was around whether it would go ahaead at all. I think they didnt put it in their schedules becxasue of that and now they have the results up but are jut keeping it NC until they are sure everything is ok legally with the bill.

    I know the bill was ok to go ahead and it was an official night of boxing but maybe they are just covering themselves until they personally can be sure.

    No one really knows the ins and outs of what has happened with the board and the bill or anything.

    Still, no harm in putting it up properly surely???

    These are guys who have Charlie Zelenoffs boxing record up, really disappointed with boxrec in this ... shows bias where they should be a completely impartial database ... nothing more.
