When Froch retires, people will remember him as the guy who fought everyone. They won't look at his career earnings or anything like that. Historically, earnings don't matter and nor should they. Froch does the only thing necessary and that's to keep on fighting the best.

If I could be in eithers shoes, it'd be Froch's. He will go down in history. Khan won't.

*sigh*...He didn't. Go listen to the interview. He said if it was him he'd retire. He went on to say that Amir was young and still had plenty left in him and could come again.

Why should Froch be mad at all at what Khan has achieved hes come off maybe the single biggest win at 168 in years in devastating fashion, has a great record and is really only 2nd in the division with a smoking hot GF. doubt Froch is catching feelings over Khan at all

Khan needs to sack up and get over himself ffs

In my experience VF,you've been a fairly cool poster, but you've got this one wrong mate. They had bad blood, but I read recently they had made it up,although I'm not sure about that now.
But to suggest this is about some resentment from Froch is way off.It was a reporter stirring up ****,but if you want to look at it in a different way,Froch has always felt a bit bitter about the time it took him to reach a decent level of exposure.A lot of that is down to being with Hennessy, who TBF,is faitly minor league in the UK.I phoned Boxing News to complain about Sky not taking Froch on in the hope that they would follow it up,but to my amazement,I actually got to speak to the editor and he very kindly had a fairly long chat with me detailing Adam Smith's(who was newly appointed head of boxing at Sky) plans to put the shocking neglect of Froch right.
It seems they feel they missed a trick, especially when the PPV's were going badly wrong at the time, and felt Froch could make a big difference.
Frcoh was very late in getting his dues, but he earned them by pure hard graft and entertaining fights.
But I'd bet anything he's quite happy now and the last person in the world he'd envy is Amir Khan.
He never set out to offend Khan and the whole thing is manufactured mischief.

**** that... when Frochs in a retirement home with no money, and his dirty money grabbing ***** of GF has left, his child rocco is in prison but has only a glittering career and only sad *******s on the classic message board mentioning him - then I'm sure he wishes did earn more money.

H~aving said that, the way Khan fights... he's not going to be arounbd long enough to enjoy all his money or his family... He'll end up as a slurring vegtable who has to be rolled out by his extended family looking after him in Pak Stan

Here is Schaffer wading into the argument and really putting Frochs rating down:

Lmao you know that Froch don't blow money right? he isn't like alot of boxers living out of his means, the gold digging part I can't say much about as I don't know anything about the girl, but it's harsh to assume that, and thinking a child is going to be in jail will no previous offences and at that age is just straight up ridiculous.

Khan won't end up a vegetable either, I get the impression off what you said that statement is wishful thinking.

well I was trying to be a bit funny, but obviously didn't work. I was replying to a guy who said he'd rather have the boxers recognition than the fame or money - I personally would go for the latter as that's what pays my bills and will set me up for a good retirement. Ask all those great boxers who didn't get the recognition they think they deserved - and see what they would say - guys like Mike McCallum

I like both Froch and Khan. I never used to like either that much early on in their careers. But both have some great assetts and are World level guys who will give it their all. Both have massive egos and say stupid things too.

    In their last fights:

Froch as an underdog KTFO an undefeated fighter

Khan as the heavy favorite got KTFO by an undefeated fighter.

    Enough said.

    Froch on Amir after loss

--WBC super-middleweight king Froch admitted: “If that happened to me I’d retire, but I’m 35. At 25, Amir’s got some of his best years ahead of him. “Mentally it’s a tough defeat to get over but he’s done it before following a devastating knockout by Breidis Prescott. “He knows he has a vulnerability and his punch resistance isn’t good, so what he needs to do is adjust his style. “Amir should use his range, fast hands and fitness to move around like he used to do. I don’t know why he seems to get involved in tear-ups.”--

    Amir on Froch after loss

--And Khan was quick to rub salt into the wounds by blasting the Nottingham puncher on his personal Facebook page. The WBA light-welterweight champ said: "Froch got his ass whooped against a fighter who Joe Calzaghe beat easily. "Froch always had a lot to say and talked trash about fighters, including me.

"I think he should hang up his gloves and work for me. I'll get him a job with Khan Promotions to put up posters."--

    Khan... :verysad
