Danny Garcia is STILL a basic plodder

  1. Don't get it twisted, he smashed hype job khans glass but this dude is no elite.

He is just one of a few guys at 140, he is not the stand out at all

People making him out to be a counterpunching genius are mental, the dude was swinging them hooks with no aim, Khan is just a stupid idiot who fell for basic tactics

He can make some exciting fights at least. Marquez and Mattysse trash him though.

I want to see Garcia go to war. His chin looks solid so far and he packs a mean left, him and Lucas should be the fight to make.

no ones saying he's elite but he's definitely champion level and a solid A fighter who's good all around. he also has a lot of heart and a great chin which will allow him to beat more talented dudes who lack behind him in those areas.....he's got enough skills to outskill the brawlers with big hearts and chins and enough chin and heart to outfight the the skilled dudes who lack his chin/heart....plus he's very well schooled. He's not elite but he's just shy of it and he's damn good fighter with a solid am pedigree. He'll be around for a long time as a top fighter.

I agree, I give him credit for sticking in the fight like he did and not resorting to a Judah like tactic however he kept hitting low, swinging wild punches and showed very low discipline.

However you cant take that win away from him, so long as he is able to improve and keep proving people wrong (including myself) then i wish him the best of luck

Lets see if he has the guts to step it up against Mathysse or Marquez next

  11. He's not an A level champ at all, that's someone like cotto, froch, martinez he threw that punch with his eyes closed after being busted up and reddened by khans pitty pat shots,

Well, he's a counterpuncher. Using a **** ton of movement can be detrimental to his style. He still has to be in range to counter.

  13. The style he used last night would have been suicide if he was facing a puncher, I hope he's got more than that

Not if he makes them miss and pays. I'm sure you also saw how much he picked off Amir's shots with his forearms.
