Both lost recently when they were favourites to win. Both now have 2 losses in a row. Both losses have ruined big plans and cost each one a lucrative big payday (although you could argue Ortiz has already had his with the mayweather fight)

Khan has lost the chance of a mayweather fight and Ortiz has lost out on a Canelo fight.

But whose career is in deeper trouble? Both are young and exciting so neither should retire yet, but you could say its last chance saloon as far the big time goes. It may be a long way back to get where they once were.
Who has more work to do and whose road back is longer?

Khan, Ortiz doesn't have a glassjaw.

If Ortiz can team up with a good trainer who he'll respect and listen to, he could have success.

But then Khan needs to get a decent trainer or listen to Roach more and focus on defence.

 True. But Khan seems to have friends in high places who want him to be big

Khan. His flaws are more detrimental.

I think Khan. Ortiz at least got the message and dropped his part-time trainer.

Its about the same but I think Ortiz is a little better while Khan isn't as much as a mental case, the last 9 months have been pretty shitty for both of them.

Just like Andre Ward said about Carl Froch after his fight with Glen Johnson..."Carl gave up...what I call sucker shots...shots he didn't have to take" Khan is still young enough to learn defensive fundementals, fact.

You can't teach heart...the only one that can help Ortiz with that is The Wizard...and he is busy trying to give the scare crow a brain...

    Khan sucks.
Ortiz needs a higher calibre trainer.

    Khan for sure.

Ortiz had his jaw broke and it is still wired shut.

Him with a new trainer who actually knows boxing will do wonders
