Khan needs to get out of the 140 division, I reckon he'll be stronger and will be easier to make weight. At 140 theres Garcia (WBA & WBC), Peterson (IBF) and Marquez (WBO) with belts and I reckon he loses to all three at the moment.

He needs to win a World title and I reckon his best shot is fighting Bailey (IBF) at 147. A fight with Paulie (WBA) won't sell and it's way too soon to put him in with Mayweather (WBC) or Bradley (WBO).

I reckon he can beat Bailey in style, take a title defense and then once he gets his confidence back then target one of the big names he's been talking about

  2. If Bailey connects, you could be talking about a fatality in the ring, I'm not joking

    Peterson Rematch....

It would sell, it would be massive.

lol so a fighter comin off a ko loss vs a guy comin off a ko win
the guy comin off a ko loss is famous but has one of the worst chins in boxin and can still have a bright future and the guy comin off a ko win has no future and is a old man
    you'd be a **** promoter

Look dude Khan does not need a megafight for his next fight, he'll sell a fight whoever it is, he just needs the easiest way to win a World title and atm it's buy fighting Bailey. After that he can go back and hype up a megafight

  6. Paulie is the easiest way to a title, it's as close to a guaranteed victory as you can get based on their styles

I think Brook will get Bailey well before Khan does.

Putting one of the hardest punchers in the sport against one of the worst chins, in the comeback fight for said chin? That's just cruel. The last opponent Khan needs right now is a puncher, let alone arguably the P4P biggest puncher in the sport

    This.

Apart from that devastating punch of his, Bailey is pretty average but Khan, with low confidence and his poor ring IQ will get caught at some point and not even I want to see the results of that, It would end Amir's career IMO.

I Think Khan would beat Bradley and Malignaggi even after this weekends antics. Khan getting sparked didn't change my opinions of him as a fighter it just proved that he had a **** chin but then again we all knew this 4 years ago.

Khan really started thinking he had an iron beard and could trade with anyone and he just completely forgot how he used to box. That sparring session he had pre Garcia was crazy, his sparring partner was tagging him at will. He needs to stop being this celebrity that trains at the wild card gym and go back to being a boxer, keep that chin tucked in and get back to business.

Oh and he needs to leave Roach. All Roach fighters fight the same old style and it seems every one of their opponents has figured it out. If Martinez flattens Chavez Jnr then he can join Lineares, Khan, Pacman on the list of wild card fighters that have recently lost and looked shite.

Mind you Chavez still has Ariza and his magic juice!!!

    Malignaggi - Yes.
    Bradley - Hell no.

Bradley is most like the Peterson that Khan faced yet is far superior in pretty much every area. I did think Khan would beat Bradley especially around the time of the Judah win but I really can't see that now.

Does anyone think that the first shot from Garcia (which people say hit his neck) was so effective because it hit that super vulnerable point behind the ear. Isn't that the point where people get put unconscious immediately from relatively little pressure?

If so then it really was a 'lucky' punch...I'm really only thinking out loud here.

"Khan needs to move up to 147 and Fight Randall Bailey"

    No, no, no

Khan needs to be brought back slowly, not too slowly but maybe a couple of fights where he can work on a few things. he is 25 years old there is no rush.

Of course Khan would say he wants a rematch with Garcia, and he may think he wants to jump straight back into the world title mix he is a young man and his pride is talking but who knows what damage that has done to him psychologically?

What happens if he turns up next time out in a high profile fight and is gun shy and gets knocked out again or even just loses?
then his reputation and career really are bang in trouble.
