Could haye have knocked Valuev out?

  1. I'm still a bit annoyed that we never got to see the giant make the ring collapse

Seeing how Haye wobbled the giant, and stopped iron chinned chisora I think Haye could have done it fairly easily if he had been more aggressive, or did he just use the best tactics to get the w

Broke or fractured his hand in the second round IIRC, He did as well as he could but taking out a 7ft giant who sees punches coming and doesn't leave himself out of position like Chisora did is hard. The punch that got Chisora going was out of eye line and was timed to perfection.

I do feel if he didn't damage hand he'd of been slightly more aggressive, but Booth didn't want any risks and he did the job and won the title using the right tactics.

Yes he could have injured hand or not.

Glad he didn't and I don't think he could unless Valuev was off balance. Valuev is a true gent and he didn't deserve the disgusting insults aimed at him from Haye.

Had valuev stiffened up good and proper (no homosexual) in the final round. Had he gone in for the kill whilst nic was doing the kebab walk I think he would have done it.

Yes. If Haye didn't break his arm against Valuev he would have KO'd him cold within 6 rounds easy. Styles make fights.

If he maybe pressed the attack, but once that punch landed even Haye himself was shocked he had the big man on baby giraffe legs. Good recovery by Valuev.

He could have but he went to fight negatively and he was in good enough condition. With fatigue goes form and his form waned over the course of the fight.
