"If we can get him (Pavlik) over to Nottingham, that's one that fans would want, Froch told BBC Sport. "He's just one name, and there are a couple of other names that Eddie's (Hearn) looking at. We're looking at 3 November, or 10 November - they're the two dates that have been pencilled in. Froch went on: "It gives me an opportunity to fight again in Nottingham and to defend the IBF title so we're trying to find a feasible opponent - someone who's decent and ranked in the top five in the world. "Then, in the new year, there's the re-match with Bute or a re-match with Mikkel Kessler, which to me is more appealing than the re-match with Bute. "But he wants to exercise his re-match clause in his home town of Montreal and you can't blame him for wanting to do that. "I think no matter what Bute does now, having lost in such a fashion against me, nobody's going to take him seriously. Whatever he does, they're going to say 'you got whooped by Carl Froch'"
Ohhhhhh ****! I loved the Bute fight, I'd definitely go back to Nottingham for this fight, atmosphere was amazing.
spot on hes someone trying to climb back to the top. im not sure he will make it. went a number of rounds with sigmon and didnt look great, busted him up but didnt have to worry about anything coming back and went the distance with a relative novice. His power doesnt seem there and he can be hit Kelly could return to a high level but he looks a long way of it at the moment
nut:nutTypical Froch having a bowel movement out of his mouth again.:rofl:rofl Of course he wants to fight in Montreal. More $$$ and less deer in the headlights for him. Now, Froch is only angering Bute and that's a good thing. I can comfortably say Froch will be KTFO inside the distance.:hi: He shoulda never clowned on Bute. He shoulda stayed respectful and friendly soas Bute would want to be buddies. Making him an enemy is really gonna draw his ire. :nono Froch is gonna have to fight a completely different Bute on completely different grounds.:yep
I think Bute may be tougher in a rematch but not much tougher. Pavlick looks to be a piece of excellant match making but who knows? He has an iron chin and power so could make it interesting.
