Dont count Kelly out. He went through his last fights without having to put alot on his punches. He fought some smart fights and kept his hands injury free. When it comes time for the froch match, Pav will be ready to bring it. Froch better be prepared.
I see it as Froch wins by stoppage. Pavlik hasn't shown me much since his latest comeback started. I like Pavlik and wish him well, but I just don't see this possible match-up as being in his best interest. A loss would set him back considerably.
You know Prince,if you say Froch finds it tough against slicksters, you'd have a point, but when you say the universally acknowledged most fearless top level boxer is scared, credibility heads in the same direction as Dirrell's career. You know I used to think you were a bit more balanced Chitown, but this and other topics are giving me serious doubts. The only bowel movement here is your toilet of a post. After Bute's performance,Froch should trash talk because it's the only way neutrals are going to get interested. Bute would want to be buddiesatsch Are you kidding?:rofl Are you also acknowledging that Bute is incapable of performing outside of Montreal? Looks that way. I'm sure Froch will still sleep soundly, even though you're suggesting he's putting himself in mortal danger by drawing Bute's "ire" Get a grip man, you're better than this(although saying Tyson is Lewis' best win makes it difficult to view you with the same seriousness I used to)
No one wan ts to see that clown again, especially the tv companies. Anyway, I thought Dirrell had 'brain damage':huh
put up or shut up, kelly. november is perfect timing wise for kelly as well. we'll find out real quick whether he has been serious about this comeback or whether he was looking to cash out. i have always felt that a prime kelly would give froch all kinds of hell and would win a fight. but jaco, sigmon and rosinsky don't tell me a damn thing about how he would fair against someone of froch's class at this point. we shall see. also, that front page article is a bit misleading. kelly has fought many times above the mw limit, including lhw.
The problem for Kelly as I see it,is that he is very much a straight down the middle fighter, whilst Froch has some of the most unusual angles of any orthodox top level fighter. His only hope would be to throw non-stop 3 and four punch combinations, all the time feigning and moving laterally to get Froch off balance. With all due respect I think Froch could fight in his favoured style in this fight and pick Kelly off all night.Add to that Froch is probably the most natural(weight-wise) SM around and Kelly just has no significant wins at 168. Great fight, and could have some real excitement, but it's just far too late for Kelly IMO.
Seems a bit pointless really, more like a glorified stay-busy fight until Bute next year, then hopefully Kessler after that. At least it should be fun while it lasts.
Are you a ******? Bute filled his pants as soon as he stepped into the Trent FM Arena and was brutally KTFO. It was literally like a fully grown man beating up his 14 year old son. Bute is petrified of Froch.
I still like Froch a lot, but it is not normal to talk trash about Bute. The conditions will be completely changed in Montreal.
