people need to end this subject, Khan looked good he was fast his power seemed to be decent but you cant just punch the other guy with 5 punch combinations and expect him not to catch u, if Khan fought Pac, Pac wouldnt try out combo him he would just wait until Khan throws more than one and load up with a Left, to beat Amir Khan all u gotta do is close the gap so he cant throw combos or just when he throws them weave and throw a haymaker, could you imagine what Cotto's left hook would do to this guy

It appears as though Khan was overtrained. And Amir was prepaired for a slick black pure boxer and it was switched to a brawler so that messed him up.

He looked sharp, fast, and appeared to have his normal pop until he got caught. He didn't overtrain.

I don't think he over trained. Khan just lost the mental battle before the fight happened. Garcia's dad effectively took Khan out of the fight with the mental games. That showed when the fight started and Khan was just looking to bang and get Garcia out of there. That played right into the hands of Garcia and their gameplan of counter punching. Khan fought stupid and careless and paid a steep price for it.

I anticipate his next fight just to see how he handles this lesson. I would also leave Roach. Khan is trying too much to fight similar to Pacquiao when he should be fighting like Wladimir. In fact, he should come knocking on Steward's door for his services.

yes. you could see physically his body was not the same as in his past few fights he was not as muscled and thick as he has been he probably concentrated more on cardio which took away some of his power to me.

on arizas twitter he said he doesnt think he over trained. i think its got more to do with how ruben trained him and his chin is not as good as he thinks it is.

    it was that, but also,

    it was being jet lagged

    it was a lucky shot

    it was not being home

it was being too aggressive and going for the knockout

it was a shot on the ear that messed up the equilibrium

it was freddie paying attention to other fighters and not STRICTLY on him

it was his wrong calvin klein panties instead of his ralph lauren ones

it was lazarus, go getta, and king khan riding his dick too hard

the bodys dont lie and khan was obviously slimmer than he had been in his past fights at junior welter. It was like he was fighting like a lightweight

nope, he got beat by the better fighter...that's it that's all folks. Khan is a C level fighter with A++ level speed and athleticism but Danny is better than Khan in every other category...power, chin, ring iq, verstality, defense.....khans better at being fast and that's it.

It's hard to tell but I don't like how a lot of the modern fighters have 4 month training camps that's too long imo. I think about 8-10 weeks is enough. A lot of fighters leave it "in the gym" as the old-timers would say. Then again if you aren't disciplined and come in camp 20 pounds over then you need the extra time to drop the weight.
