How comes Manny Pacquiao went from glass chin to iron chin?

    I know he moved up about 30lbs, but in theory shouldn't he at least get rocked a little from at least 1 of the big shots he's taken since moving up? I mean he hasn't changed in size too much.

    Antonio Margarito was getting put on his ass when he was a kid, too.

    It happens. Becoming a seasoned fighter that can take punches better as you get older and more experienced, isn't that out of the ordinary.

    Horrible comparison. Antonio Margarito's chin really hasn't changed. He can be hurt and this has been shown from early in his career to smack dab in his prime. But he's always takena good shot.

    so basically the OP's conclusion to his theory is that, pac may be taking something. If that was the case then how come Khan still got the glass chin he always had before meeting up with roach, which is really the only reason Pac was able to handle the upper division and dominate.

    MaNNY ACTUALLY WORKED ON HIS DEFENSE AND IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPROVED DEFENSIVE FIGHTER IN BOXING OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS. iF YOU NOTICED SINCE mARGACHEATO HE DOESN'T GET TAGGED NEARLY AS MUCH.

    Ariza but of course, i mean look at Khan for instance he never went down under his supervision, but the 2x Khan wasn't with Ariza he looked bad (against McCloskey) and he got TKO'd (against Garcia), or is that just a coincidence, personally I think not, Khan needs to get back with Ariza and start drinking them "Ariza shakes" ASAP.
