He did turn away. He stopped negotiating with Mayweather and the mediator, and walked away from the negotiating table. And then announced the Clottey fight.

    Exactly.

GBP told Top Rank that they would base the split of the actual #s.

Also, why did Arum say he didn't know why Schaffer was calling his office?
Why did Arum say he didn't know who to call to make a fight with Floyd?
Why did Arum say he wasn't going to make the Floyd-Pac fight because it would be bad press for Pac in the Philipines when he ran for President?

    That's your problem.

    Why?

Floyd wants random testing. Floyd generates and gets paid WAY more than Pac so Floyd agreed with Pac that Pac should take the smaller purse.

On the other hand, have you seen how many ****ing PATHETIC excuses came/come from Pac and his team?

Sure if you have any sense you can't be blaming Floyd, and if it makes you feel better blaming Floyd, you can't believe he is half at fault.

Pac is now okay with random testing. I agree that 50/50 was fair before and maybe not so fair now, but you have to agree that 40mil with no other revenue pay is unfair (even if it would be PAC's best payday because it would be Floyd's too). What would you believe to be an even and fair split for this fight?

Most of the excuses seems to be coming from Arum. What is your opinion? Do you think it is Manny or Arum who does not want this fight?

40 mil was an offer, Pac's counter offer was 50/50 or nothing. Not much of a negotiation when you say "or nothing" isn't it?

Some of them came from Pac, some from Arum, some from Roach, and even Knocz.

Pac is a grown man. He can tell the promoter HE hired to make a fight happen.

Did you know it was Pac who CHOSE Cotto, and he called Arum and told him to make the fight happen?

anyone that is cool that pac stalled the fight for 2 or so years because of a stupid 2 week cutoff then finally agrees at the time where the fight doesnt even matter anymore, has a serious agenda in favor of Manny

    Pacquiao

    JMM

Was 38 years old and had been schooled by Mayweather 2 years before that fight

    Shane Mosley

Was almost 40 years old, was almost beaten by Sergio Mora, was schooled by Mayweather 1 year before the fight

    Antonio Margarito

Had been brutally stopped by Mosley 1 year before their fight

    Joshua Clottey
    Had just lost to Cotto

    Miguel Cotto
Was forced down to 145 to make it an easy fight for Pac

    Mayweather

    Miguel Cotto
Fought him at his best weight and he was coming off one of the best victories of his career

    Victor Ortiz
Was coming off his best win against Berto

    Shane Mosley
Was coming off a sensational stoppage win against Margarito

    JMM
Had argueably just beaten Pac, got schooled by Mayweather, then went on to soundly beat Pac

    Ricky Hatton
Undefeated superstar from England was dominated and stopped by Mayweather

As you can see, Mayweather only fights guys coming off big wins and great performances, while Pacquiao fights guys with recent losses, guys who had already been schooled by Mayweather or at disgraceful catch weights :deal

I hope you made a lot of money betting on Manny's Cotto and Hatton fights, maybe the delahoya one as well.

For such easy fights you could have gotton yourself awesome betting odds.

i personally bet £1000 on Mayweather vs Mosley, and was very confused when i only won £100. I told the bookies, did they not know about Mosleys sensational victory over Margarito. Should i not have got more money for picking floyd to win.

To which the booky responded :-(

Agree with most of it apart from Cotto vs Pacquaio at 145 lbs drained him, Clottey is atleast as good as Ortiz also with a close fights against both Cotto and Margarito and a win over Judah.

Cotto at 145 lbs I don't think was as good as the version Mayweather fought but that is more because of His new trainer and improving his technical skills and tactics for the fight.

You don't get much money betting on Mayweather because everyone expects him to win
