Not that dominating the first 2 rounds in a fight you get brutalised a round later in counts for much...... but I've noticed a lot of people claiming Khan was dominating and just got complacent and got caught, this is straight up bull****!!!

Garcia was tagging that ass since the first exchanges round 1 and it was only a matter of time before he caught Khan. He was also slipping/parrying/blocking a lot of Khans best work. Khan won the rounds on workrate only, Garcia landed the better punches. Even though Khan outworked him you could tell Garcia was getting **** going and getting to him and that Khans shots had next to no effect on him......

    watch it for yourself:

Watch again and pay attention to garcias defensive work, it was actually very impressive. He was countering from the first exchange in the fight and announcers were giving him no credit, ignoring his work and big upping khans. In round 1 Khan landed almost nothing significant that wasn't partially blocked and the few significant shots he landed were met with counters from Danny.

Seriously I urge you all to watch this again, turn off the sound and pay attention to Garcia's defense/blocking and countering in round 1,2....you'll see this was by no means a dominant couple of rounds for Khan and that Garcia was doing good work and setting up the inevitable end from the get go:

Don't bother responding to **** until you've seriously watched again with no sound. If you come to any other conclusion than they were competitive rounds where Khan had a higher work rate then you crazy and I really don't know what to say to you.

Garcia was countering his ass and holding his own when trading shots. i knew it was gonna get ugly for Khan after watching the first round.

bottom line is, HBO commentators are shitty and didnt give him credit for a damn thing until he layed him out.

I agree. HBO had an agenda again and didn't acknowledge Garcia's punches that hit Khan, especially in the exchanges. Garcia was setting up the left hook the entire fight and it was obvious that it had to land with full force sooner or later. Lucky punch my ass ...

no you're a nuthugger who refused to even watch it again and be rational and unbiased about it.

i just posted this less than 5 minutes ago, it would take you 7 minutes to watch the first 2 rounds..... you didn't even bother, **** off.

Ahh I get it now! You're talking about the counter that hit Khan below the belt? Yes , indeed that was a ferocious indication of things to come.

I thought he won the two rounds but certainly never dominated. My only problem with Garcia early was that he seemed to swing at thin air once or twice.
I thought Queen Khan was the only person saying otherwise. And let's not forget,Garcia is supposedly a renowned slow starter.I gave Khan the rounds but nothing close to dominating.
I want to see how Garcia handles a slickster.Bit thin on the ground at 140 though.I wouldn't trust Zab if he told me tomorrow was Thursday.

Yep - Garcia was landing or skimming Khan in twos right off the bat. Stood his ground, moved his head and threw hooks when Khan opened up.

Does it matter? Khan got sparked the following round.

For all it's worth, I agree Garcia had enough ring savvy and skills than what people give him credit for.He blocked, slipped and move out in the exchange.I thought he made his mind up in the third that Khan can't hurt him and set camp in the pocket and ambush Khan.
In that round it wasn't necessary he just countered (punched with Khan) knowing Khan would come off second best in the heavy exchanges.

watch it again and this time instead of just watching khan while you stroke yourself, take a look at garcias work and the fact that khan hardly lands anything clean as a result of garcia blocking/parrying/slipping. look i'm not denying khan outhustled him so he deserved the edge in the rounds but if you can't see they were competitive then you're blinded by nuthuggery.

think about it for a second, you're the only one with this opinion, instead of everyone else being wrong you need to sit back and think "hey maybe it's me"
