I didn't label Jones finished until the Sheika/Calzaghe fights where he looked terrible in them.

So by that you admit that Floyd would dominate Pac?

Mayweather just under 1/4 so they must have seen you as a mug to give you 1/10. True story.

in a nutshell, pac's last fights, and probably even his whole career can be summed up by the words cherrypick and weightdrain.

the only shitty fight money had recently was the one that ortiz ****ed up. otherwise that would have been another sweeeettt display of uncanny skills, which pac got none.

Just because he never openly said there was a catchweight anywhere doesn't mean it wasn't there. Is Sports Illustrated Lying, then?

And if there was, in fact, no catchweight, that's almost WORSE than there not being one. Bringing Marquez up all the way from lightweight to the Welterweight limit where he never fought before?

Damn, that's disgraceful. PLease don't bring up Pac/Marquez III being at Welter because we all know that was rigged in Pac's favor as well. We're talking about Floyd here.

Then you clearly don't know Roy. He was done like dinner and his legs were completely gone after Tarver III.

A lot of the news outlets were saying its a catchweight when it wasn't. I think GBP just went with that to help hype the fight and make it out as more of an even matchup between the two. When floyd and juan came to the UK to promote the fight in May 2009, I remember leonard being asked on the radio regarding the weight and he said "its a welterweight fight", they proceeded to ask him about the catchweight to which yet again replied "its a welterweight fight". I agree with you it was a bull**** move and what made it worse was them hiding it during the promotion. When the matchup was announced, should have just told the truth about it being at 147 but who does tell the truth in boxing these days.

Well, Ellerbe's response doesn't mean it wasn't a catchweight. In fact, the fact he just kept saying "It's a Welterweight fight" simply means it was anywhere between 141 and 147LBS, which lends more weight to the catchweight theory. Also, numerous sites reported that Mayweather paid Marquez 600,000 for going over the weight. Not sure how that would just materialize out of thin air. At any rate, whether it was a catchweight or not, still a bull**** move, like you said.

Against Margo and Pac, Cotto beg for his life.

Maybe the Cotto/Floyd fight was a good loss for Cotto.

Cotto at 154 is a shell and he loses any hand to hand match up with himself at 40-47...
Yes Floyd pulled Jmm up two weight classes for a catchweight, even worse jmm only fought twice at lightweight.. Floyd paid 200,000 for missing weight, just so Juan didn't walk away..

Cotto was the only good opponent Mayweather has beaten. He ducked Margarito. Sucker punched Ortiz. Oscar and Shane are old, even shane has the jittery shake, Parkinsons?

He lost a shutout to Floyd at the same weight that he beat PAC at.

    You're only fooling yourself.

****.. Floyd dragged up a man who was a career featherweight that just barely fought at lightweight to a catchweight fight.. Didn't make weight, paid a heavy price just so jmm would fight that night.. Not to mention no time to acclimate, no strength, no conditioning just burrito weight for the Floyd fight, no bull****.. Can't make that **** up
