can't say i agree. poochiao got a lot of bullshits too for you to give him too much credit. he aint fighting money. they talked straight up and he flat out rejected money's offer. if it were up to him he would have run from that third pee pee mouth fight too.

 

Hatton actually got one up on floyd in negotiations as team mayweather forgot to include UK PPV so hatton got a shitload of money from sky(UK network) as the fight did approx 1.1m buys. Manny wanted a high percentage vs hatton including UK revenues to which hatton told him to **** off. Then bob proceeded to guarantee pacquiao a higher purse. He probably did that by reducing his PPV share at the back end like how he usually does when manny asks for his monies in advance :rofl

From what I remember they agreed to 50/50 and then Pacquiao demanded more or the fight was off even though they had started the promotional tour.

I think they settled for 52/48 and a few other things altered in the contract.

 

I don't begrudge any boxer using negotiating leverage to sweeten his purse. It take years and shitloads of work for these guys to get where they are. He should try to get every cent he possibly can in every fight he takes. This could be all over for him with one punch.

you guys are blind..aside from a guaranteed pay and asking for more pie in the ppv is different from from guaranteed pay w/o ppv....remember that its Pacquiao/Mayweather fight , and its a huge and insane ppv money is involved. but i agree that pacquiao is no saint.
