I think he'll try and bull dawson like he did against allen green and mikkel kessler. If the killer who fought Hopkins shows up though, I don't know if that's a good idea. I see this being a sizzling technical matchup...what will ward do? what should he do against Bad Chad?

Lead right to the head and body. Pretty much how Morales fought Pac the first fight, but with more mugging and smothering Chad's punches on the inside from Ward.

Dawson looked like crap against 50 year old Hops and I suspect him to look worse against 27 year old Ward. I'm 110 percent confident that Ward wins. 50 bucks paypal if you disagree, come get it :yep

like I said if the chad who fought hopkins shows up that's a really tough proposition for ward, regardless of gameplan. expect ward's toughest fight so far.

Even the Dawson who fought Hopkins fought in spurts. Ward will press the pace. Dawson doesn't do too well when his opponent dictates where the fight takes place.

you meant hopkins, but good point nonetheless. i'm just expecting ward to fight like a man possessed but you honestly never know. he can show up looking to stare at his opponent and be roughed up ala pascal. he's so unreliable mentally.

Usually when faced with a reach disadvantage, a good boxer will repeatedly jab to the body to keep his opponent off balance. Look at what mayweather did to Corrales, or what Bradley did to Whitter. In addition to that I think he attempt to land right hands and left hooks from the outside. Despite what people seem to think, Ward is an excellent boxer. I don't think Ward will try mugging on the inside until later, I could be wrong.

I'm almost always waiting for Dawson to unleash, cause when he actually does, it's a beauty to behold. I just think Ward will give him too many different looks for Chad to get too comfortable.
