i had khan winning the rds 1. i had him winning a closer rd 2. but in every rd i could see garcia getting better and better. if you understood boxing and the styles in the ring plus the fighters, you would know that garica is notorious slow starter. he gets better as the rds goes on, by the 4th rd hes firing on all cylinders. khan is a fast starter and starts to fade in the latter half of the fight. both fighters can smash you in a few rds if your not on there level in the first place.depsite starting slow or fading in the latter half of the fight. khan comes out fast as usual and garcia came out slow as usual. but garcia did not come out as slow as roach and khan thought he would. to be honest i dont think garcia comes out slow, just because roach has khan and pacman coming out guns blazing all the time dont mean other fighters start off slow. roach said that peterson, braldey and now garcia are slow starters and the game plan is always start off agressvie and try to hurt the guy early in the fight.its almost like hes telling khan and pacman to try and ko these fighters in 4rds. you ever wonder what type of pressure he puts on his fighters when makes statments like that ? there are no catch weights in these fights and they are not fighting bums.peterson, bradley and garica can all fight there asses off and were to never to be over looked and all 3 of them were.roach telling anyone who would listen that those guys were getting koed in 4rds. the nerve of him, his fighters are not that damn good and those 3 men are not some bum ass fighters either. so now you have pacman getting getting gifts and robberies in back to back fights. khan gets beat and then koed in back to back fights. wtf are they doing over there in the wildcard gym ? anyways you could see garica throwing left hooks and right hooks in the 1st 2 rds. and you were thinking damn hes just throwing wild haymakers but he really trying to catch khan coming in or out.thats why his hooks came out wild looking because he was trying to decapitate khan coming in or out. and lets be honest khan is one of the fastest in boxing so he was not going to hit a home run off the first damn pitch. but at some point he was going to land that shot and it was going to come sooner then later because of the way khan fights. it was not a lucky punch it was a signature punch from garcia that i guess people who did not follow garica did not know about. it landed with full power on the neck and side of khan's jaw. it was a hell of a punch to take in the 3rd rd, i actually think khan could have taken the punch better if was latter in the fight. khan got in the exchange and never recovered and it was all she wrote after that. ill give khan a pass before i give victor a pass, but khan better stop sleeping on fighters he has done it twice now and both times have cost him alot. roach can share some of the blame because it dont help with those 4rd ko predictions he likes to make. ive said enough.
How many times wasGarcia missing with that infamously well timed counter? A lot up until the KD. He even missed a fair few times after Khans legs had gone. Garcia was staring at the ground when he let go of that hook, and it hit Khan on the neck, nearer the back than the jaw.
All due respect but are you really gonna bring up technical **** like that when Garcia's glove almost went through Amir's head in that picture?
Zab was beating Floyd for 4 or however many rds, Cotto was outboxing Pac for 2 rds, Macklin was beating Sergio's ass until the KO arrived late for Sergio. Many more examples. What's your agenda? Are you trying to lessen the butthurt pain? Garcia ate each one of Khan's shots like they were candy. Even if he got hit a lot, his chin is still better than Khan's.
again you have to understand boxing. like i said khan is one of the fastest in boxing and im sure its always going to be hard to train for his speed, you can get a fast light weight but khan might be faster then that and anyone smaller would be deemed unfit to spar garica because of the weight disadvantage. like i said garica was not going to hit a home run off the first pitch. but he did in rd 3.its not like the fight went 8rds or something the **** was over in 3. and danny was catching him since the 1st rd. khan was winning the rds but danny would always catch him with a good counter punch every rd. you would have had to known something big was going to land sooner then later. if you understood what was happening in the fight. so danny did not land the punch in the 1st rd he landed it in the 3rd its boxing.
Danny landed a few shots , missed many more, but hat wasn't the problem, the problem for Khan was the area on his neck that hook landed. It was a freak KD
