Pacquiao was a bigger star in the US than Hatton. Better resume, better name, and coming off of a victory where most people thought he would be sent home in a casket.

What's funny is the guaranteed 40mill is more then Pac or any fighter would make off 1 fight. Hell his last fight he got 26mill, but has to split and pay everyone out of that. I do think Pac deserves his fair share of the split as well as mayweather, I think Pac shot himself in the negotiations foot with the Bradley loss. Mayweather has the upper hand now and will probably get more money based on his last ppv numbers and pacquaio's L. At this point may deserves the bigger cut of the pie.

are you really blind or what, dont you know how much ppv buys the fight would generate...definitely,for that fight at THAT TIME, Manny would get more than $26m guarantee and plus a share in PPV would make $40M look like peanuts. and regarding your comment that Mayweather has a upperhand now, I do agree with that..but I was talking about the failed negotiations in the past before the Bradley fight...Manny stated before he dosent care in Mayweather gets a bigger guarantee purse, its not his business...what he cared about is his share in ppv buys plus his guarantee purse..remember that Pacquiao has also a hand ofthe insane amount it would generate , and mayweather wants to have it all...and on the second thought, i do and many believe that it was just floyd's ploy to make it appear that he wants to fight, he really offered that stupid demand for Pacquiao to decline. and make manny look bad...a greedy businesman would like to get a bigger share of the ppv, but to demand you get ALL is another way of saying NO to the fight...

The "NO PPV share" was equally ******ed from Floyd.

Zero PPV Share is a clear duck.

And the money Floyd would make in a Pac fight would be at minimum TWICE the amount he'd make taking on the next biggest fight he could make (Sergio). It goes both ways.

The problem is Floyd said that Pac would be easy work. No one in their right mind would pass up that kind of bank for easy work. NO ONE!

Some of you Floyd fans are becoming more vaginal everyday. Seriously, you guys are going to start having periods soon.

What idiot would believe that Hatton is as big a draw as Pac? What Hatton got was actually quite generous. I don't have a problem with Pac getting less than 50%. I don't think most people have a problem with it. What people does have an issue with is Floyd asking for 70%. He's pricing himself out of the fight on purpose.

Floyd doesn't want the fight. He already admitted that he's a rich coward. straight from your hero's mouth...a rich coward.

No karma because he won and now enjoying is 25M$.
A rematch guarantees him another $25M.
99% saw him the winner. He lost nothing actually.

It's the other way around. If he takes the $40m guarantee from FMJ, he has to pay Arum, say 27%. His last fight Arum pays him $26m. His net is about 10% higher with the 40m, with no upside. That's a bad deal all around.

  15. How did the Hatton-Malignaggi fair in terms of PPV and gate receipt? It was surprisingly low. And now he wants 50/50 sharing? Come on, Hatton was not able to carry his last fight in terms of sales. It is only fair for Pacquiao to ask for 60/40 because he worked for it and he is the number 1 pound for pound.
