Richard Abril??? AWOL

Molina made it look like a natural consequence of the action against Kirkland. Abril just went out with an obvious hook'n hold strategy. No attempt to disguise it or do much else.

 

...and Carlos isn't ALWAYS negative & ugly.

His fights with JCC Jr. x2 & Lara (all three robberies) as well as Conyers and Cintron weren't bad at all.

Slick Dick has never once been in a pretty fight.

1st off, Molina does not always fight like he did against Kirkland, at all. Maybe YOU'RE the one who's only seen one fight of one of these guys?


Second, I've seen several Abril fights, and wanted to gouge my eyes out with a screwdriver every time. Rios is not his worst performance, in fact it's one of his prettiest, sad as that is!!

I have even seen him live in person (against Lundy) and been one of the MANY people booing him for stinking up the joint as he does every time.

Chavez 1 & 2, Lara, Cintron, Conyers, Perez...nothing at all like how he fought Kirkland. :deal In fact in a few of those he was the forward-moving aggressor and did not initiate any clinches at all.

Abril on the other hand...:dead:blood :barf every ****ing time.

Rios was badly exposed for not being able to compensate for Abril's style, and Abril was unquestionably the "better" (in the sense of "more effective") man on the night...and there's no room for any excuses about Rios being drained or anything.
