    The fact the he outboxed the p4p king Pacquiao just last year gets him to be in the top 3 spot, thats more than enough reason. It doesnt get more legit than Pacquaio, unless its Mayweather, whom he has faced already.

    Another thing; At least he's getting in the ring with Pacquaio....Same can't be said with you know who.

    Many times I've said GBP gave him and WBC gave him a BS belt and created many haters by doing so, if they wanted to mold him slowly, they should have not given him a belt...

    Canelo is still a great fighter, a young dude that has the potential to do some great things in boxing with time as the kid is only 21... all WBC and GBP did is create haters because they themselves give Canelo inferior competition to defend the belt creating a lot of hate this way... The competition would be great if he was still a prospect but for being a champion the Rivals have left much to be desired thats where GBP ****ed up...

    They should have continued giving him the mosely's cintron's then giving him the belt vs a seasoned ranked vet like Cotto/Bundrage a well earned belt.

    It's ridiculous how over board people go with the belt thing. Canelo isn't to blame. He even addressed it. Canelo made a good point, he said that they came to him with the offer to fight Hatton for the belt, and he says "Who is going to deny a chance at a belt." Every single fighter if put in the same situation as Canelo was in, would have also agreed to fight for the belt regardless of merit.

    JMM and Nacho were just arguing the fact the Saul fought a NON-Ranked fighter at 154 in Matt Hatton for the vacant title. He was saying that Saul should face #4 since that person was available and hatton was a welter.
