This would be a great fight. Is it headlining or on an undercard? would love for SKY to get hold of it.

its on the undercard of bailey vs alexander which is already confirmed on box nation so it'll be televised there. for the better too as their coverage is far superior, no adverts in between rounds is how it should be.

 

At least it will get coverage. If it was SKY we would have breaks inbetween rounds and we would only see highlights of this fight.

Don't rule out Ajose, he get avoided for a reason

Yep it is for the WBC interim title. The WBC are really something. If Garcia and his team/Golden Boy Promotions are protecting him from facing Ajose then give up the WBC title and left Ajose and Matthyse 2 guys who are not afraid of anybody fight for the WBC title instead of this interim crap. It is quite clear that Golden Boy who incidentally promote Matthyse as well as Garcia are trying to eliminate Ajose so that Garcia does not have to face him at least for now. It's is the same situation as what was done with Julio Cesar Chavez Junior and Sergio Martinez. It's a tough fight for both guys and in my opinion Matthyse is a better fighter and tougher than Garcia by far. In fact I rate him so highly that I view him as an undefeated fighter because I don't believe his 2 losses to Alexander and Zab Judah were really defeats he just got shafted. I believe Ajose Olusegun will rise to the occasion once again and defeat Matthyse. Don't be surprised if Garcia then vacates the WBC belt.
