If he gets the fights, he is going to be something special, he doesn't need to fight a top guy to be able to see the level the guy is at.

Best talent I've seen in a wee while.

How many years he has at pro is the other question.

You're an idiot if you don't think Mares will give him problems.

I do favor him over Mares tho. Over Donaire as well.

He's a superb boxer. On of my favorites stylistically.

He won't make me a fan until I see that he can take a punch from a puncher.

Hes so good, that he is killing his own career with these great performances.

There is no way in hell Donaire is getting in the ring with him, and Mares's handlers will keep him well away from Rigo

Before you make those comments you should keep in mind his toughest opponent was Cordoba who dropped him with a jab and that made him run the rest of the fight.

Both Mares and Donaire could definitely put him down along with having alot more skills.

I think those fights are all 50-50.

I should fix my post. I just meant that I am not sold on him until he shows me he can take a punch. I guess that's the way he will make me a fan of his. His ability to avoid a punch is pretty damn good though. I just don't want to over rate him (Not saying you are).

I'll give you an example; Amir Khan. Dude can box,can punch, excellent fundamentals but doesn't take well a punch.Maybe Rigo doesn't have the solidest chin in the sport, maybe is worse than Khan himself but he compensate with outstanding skills.
Wlad Klits for example, knows he can't take solid punches as his brother. He has developed a great jab and his monstrous right hand to become unbeatable at Hw.Lennox did it also himself.
Fighters like pernell,Leonard,Hearn did it also. A solid defense with decent power took them to championships.

More defensively skilled than Mayweather in my opinion.

Been a fan of the jackal from day one. . . His style might be a little tiresome at times, but I enjoy watching him dissect his opponents.

Without going into a long, drawn out post, I'll just say that I think he has all the talent, and "ring IQ" to beat anybody from 122-126.

Easy now. . Be easy with that!

That's too much to say right now. . . Floyd is one of hte best defensive boxers of all time, and definitely the best of this era.
