A)build up against another list of british domestic talent. go commonwealth, british, euro route
B)get the **** out of the u.k. and train with freddie roach and the crew. fight small time u.s. fighters around the world and become a world champion any means necessary.

he chose the latter and the smarter move.

but it's distanced himself away from his fan base in a sense. he doesn't seem like a british boxer but a world boxer. a man with no passport. he hates losing (understandable when a possible floyd fight was over the horizon) but it's the bitterness he exudes. he cares and doesnt care at the same time. he talks about how all the racism in the u.k. he is form up north and it's still ****ing raw. but he should just say "**** the ****s" let them marinade in there bitter angry juices.


honestly though i never took a liking to him because he was a bad mix of too serious and too diva at the same time. i like my fighters to have a laugh or feel they are working towards something. he has the paul smith syndrome of thinking he is truly world class and elite but is insulted that it isnt poured to his feet. as if he is snubbed at every turn. what about jon thaxton or ashley theophane or carl froch who have a similar mentality but aknowledge it's a long way to the top and it's luck and timing of fights that make or break you.

but i think he should get a rematch in the u.k. have a small british flag the size of a teaspoon on the corner of his trunks with velvet green (for ****stan) and silver (for the medal he got). to tick all the boxes



but honestly the hate he gets from boxing fans was that he avoided the non dangerous fighters that people wanted to see. the commonwealth was agood title but it went nowhere for the rest of the british 'tourneyment' the thaxton-khan fight was a brilliant trade fight that would of allowed thaxton to retire on a high note even though he would of most probably if not defintly lost and the world ranking would of been given to amir him honestly. not get into positions of popularity.

how many videos are there of people who are not outraged by amir khan being of a mildly different background than there own....none or few because nobody gives a ****. those videos are just example of angry jobless blokes because they are trying to not look lightweight.

any boxing fan who is racist is missing 97% of the world boxing scene now and throughout history.

I think Amir Khan acts like an idoit and comes accross as arrogant. He does not respect other fighters and is always talking past his next fight. Which kinda makes it funny when he loses.
